INTRODUCTION
I am going to prepare a report and reflection journal about my reflection on the course and new environment in which I am living. This report will help me just to remind overall my growth and development and I face and deal with challenges in my new track of life. I feel so happy to say that I got the opportunity to get higher education from New Zealand.it is pretty great country because the education system, country rule and regulations, workplace environment and everything is totally different and better than our own country (India).for example in relation to education system, I have learn a heap of teaching and learning methods from the teacher which are really useful to understand something quick and in a couple of minutes.Which both methods I have learned from my respected teacher Jan Fitz Gerald.
Next I would like to talk that in my country only the one method of teaching was used for everybody but here in new Zealand I have notice that the teachers always go through different type of teaching tools for instance they teach according to Kolb experimental learning model (1984) and some adult learning theories because they know that everybody have different learning style and
English 102 Reflection During the course of English 102, I took this year of the spring semester. I have accomplished a variety of goals I once thought were impossible. I have not only grown as a writer and a student but as an individual as well. I feel that through my experience of this English course, I have achieved knowledge and self-confidence to step out into the real world.
PERSONAL TRAINING Name: Institution: Abstract This paper aims at pointing out the importance of a personal trainer as he or she is an acknowledged individual in the lives of many. A personal trainer plays a major role in the daily lives of many people. The study also points out the advancement levels of a personal trainer, which are the entry-level, the mid-level and the executive-level.
One of the key to the successful teaching of physical education is the use of a broad range of approaches and methodologies. As it is acknowledged that schools, classes and teachers will vary, some methods will suit particular circumstances better than others, and the nature of the strands themselves necessitates the use of a variety of teaching methods. There is a need to examine the teaching methods which will best enhance the achievement of the objectives, taking factors such as the content and context of the lesson into account, as well as the needs of the learner. Portfolio Part B: Reflection on the overall learning within the module Prior to starting this course the MA Social Work course and the PPSWP module I felt very confident in the aspects of communicating effectively and working with a diverse range of people, and after the reading the professional capabilities framework I believe that I hold the same personal values which is expected of a social worker. The PCF6 talks about the importance of critical reflection and reflective practice explaining that it helps improve accountability, professional development and helps to you understand your own tacit knowledge and gain new knowledge, which improves outcomes and experiences for social workers. TRAINING: DEVELOPMENT: Training is the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies as a result of teaching. Training is a program organized by the organization to develop knowledge and skills in the employees as per the requirement of the job. Development teaches how to become more productive and effective at work and at the company. Since Tesco aims to expand and diversify, that required the business to select the right people, in the right place, because customers’ needs and wants are different and the culture of each area varies. Tesco need to have flexible employee who are able to adapt the change in order to satisfy the customer.
A. OBJECTIVE AND THEORETICAL BACKGROUND In this individual reflective report, I will discuss how the Consulting Project course gave me opportunities to experience, explore and evaluate the real-life business case, how it strengthen my practical business knowledge, problem solving and leadership skills, and how the learning process will support my personal development goals. To help structure my reflective report, I will apply the Kolb’s model of reflection which we learned from the LPDCM course. Introduction: Reflection is a part of daily process of learning and thinking. As stated by Jasper, (2003), the reflection is “…the way that we learn from an experience in order to understand and develop practice”. It is useful in dealing with challenges and can be used as a tool for personal and professional development. Moreover, a convoluted process of writing experiences and learning from any event and understanding of its usefulness in future is, defined as Reflective writing. The theoretical model which is often used as a framework for reflective writing was created by Professor Graham Gibbs (1988) and is known as Gibb’s reflective cycle.
ENG-122 Reflective Essay My writing process has changed tremendously over the course of this class. I feel more accomplished, confident and I feel sometimes that my ideas and thoughts just come in to my mind out of nowhere and I start writing about anything now. I pay attention to my punctuation and grammar more as I have polished them more now, not only when I write but then others write as well. I am constantly looking for errors and I highly think this is helping me a lot in my career.
This module and coursework requirements were directed to present some crucial and effective experience for me. During the entire course, I had learnt a number of different learning, which can be proved quite helpful for me to build a successful and attractive career ahead. I can present the significance of the coursework activities done in terms of my learning from this subject. The reflection of the coursework learning can be presented as below: Problems faced during the research work: Although I have been able to finish my coursework requirements within the time frame.
Description Reflection is a necessary component in learning to regulate opinion, feelings, and actions. Reflection links experience and knowledge by providing an opportunity to explore areas of concern in a critical way and to make adjustments based on these reflections (Knowles Z., Tyler G., 2006). I will be using the Gibbs G (1988) Learning by Doing: A guide to teaching and learning methods (Davies S., 2012).
Introduction In this reflective essay I will reflect upon the course based on the assignments and projects I have accomplished this semester. Recent research (Kornblith, 2012:3) identifies that reflection is an active process and making sense of the experience through the understanding of one’s actions. As suggested by (Roberts, 2011:63) she states that the understanding of reflection have been used to develop an action stage, which can further help to improve my skills and knowledge towards my course. This is vital as it ensures that i get the most out of my learning experience and i could use them to their maximum benefit.
The paper reflects on my experience during the teaching practicum. Initially, it analyses the strategies my Mentor Teacher (MT) adopted in her teaching and interaction with the students. Additionally, it analyses the techniques I employed to motivate, monitor, and manage students during my teaching practice. Finally, it discusses how I will improve my teaching in terms of instructional strategies, classroom interaction, objectives-activities-assessments alignment, and classroom management.
According to Faculty of Education at University of Cambridge, dialogic teaching is a way of teaching where talk is an effective way to carry out teaching and learning. It involves ongoing talk between two parties; the teacher and the students. In early 2000s, Robin Alexander developed this type of learning. Dialogical teaching helps teacher to discover students’ needs, assess their progress and so on. Dialogic teaching offers an interaction; which is between not only teacher and students; it could be between student and student.
All of these can step-by-step help me develop my personal and professional skills, also provide a foundation for continued professional development. To conclude my reflection, I have discussed my future employability, how to use the skills and experiences to own professional development,
Evaluation of my time spent at a London Students Union Introduction This report will the evaluating my experience during my experiential learning practice. Experiential learning practice (EPP) in its simplest form is developing skills through practice, followed by reflection on skills gained and their use. EPP was popularised as an alternative to written and aural taught learning, it offered a different and new way of learning through practical skills (Lewis & Williams, 1994, p. 6). For my EPP I was working within the representation team for a London Students union, A charitable membership organisation that represents and serves the students of a university.
