On today 's interview, we present to you Jen Molitor, NTP, GAPS from Nutrition Inspirations, LLC.
Her expertise as a professional in the nutrition field revolves around pregnancy, breastfeeding and toddlers. Her biggest experience roll around birthing, breastfeeding & raising her own 2 children. Her diet with each child was quite different- and it led to very different pregnancies. As Jen said, 'Healthy lifestyle is crucial for any woman, especially those who are growing and nourishing a baby. ' She has worked with many women who were either cleaning up their diets to prepare for pregnancy or who were hoping to lose post-baby weight.
We asked, "How can you separate yourself from the others in this field?" She said, "I believe,

Some of the first strategies she worked on with women are geared for developing a deeper connection with themselves. Listening to your body’s signals that it needs support, as well as understanding how the body works is an important part of developing that connection. Loving yourself is the key to improve your health, and the side effects of that deeper connection pour over into other relationships and endeavors as …show more content…
Her tips are most commonly individualized, taking into consideration the patient 's current diet, lifestyle choices, food knowledge, etc. She wants to say, to any woman going through the journey of motherhood is to start listening to your body. Well, she literally means listening - to the symptoms and other signs, and then taking the time to ask your body what it needs. For example, most of us crave sugar or sweet things at some point in our lives. That craving is our body talking! I find that the sweetness we are craving is the sugar found in fruit or even an overall sweetness that we’re lacking in our life. So you might try having some good quality berries (strawberries, wild blueberries, raspberries), apples, pears, cherries, apricots, or dates, etc. and scheduling some time to incorporate more sweetness into your life. She added, "Eat organically - everything you possibly can. Especially
QP engaged Maunica in participating in a CBT activity geared towards emotional response. QP asked Maunica to list some emotions people have. QP brainstormed with Maunica things that prompts events of emotional reactions in people. QP assisted Maunica in participating in a mindfulness exercise.
After Richard joined the Army, she had gone on a couple dates with friends of friends, but it felt awkward and uncomfortable. Her friends said she just “needed to get her feet wet” but she was unsure if she was “even interested.” Tanesha’s grandmother and aunt had both suffered breast cancer, causing Tanesha to be vigilant about her health. She has annual physical exams, takes vitamins daily, eats healthfully, and attempts to exercise regularly.
Her rhetoric accomplishes what she expected to achieve; knowledge of what she had learned about AIDS and who could be the next unknowing victim.
This is done through her dialogue as evident by her speech to her med student about how their patients feel, “’That woman in there knows that she no longer needs to accommodate her breasts when hugging friends, carrying groceries, or feeding a child. Her scars and the sympathetic look in her husband’s eyes will only cement those facts. Some of us know what it’s like to lose their entire world in an afternoon’” (Garvin, 7). A reader can really get the sense of just what kind of pain she is in and can empathize with her.
I finally landed a Diet Tech position, which has provided a wealth of knowledge in the area of clinical nutrition. While working in the clinical setting, I have discovered my love for medical nutrition therapy. Here, I feel that I truly contribute to a piece of the puzzle in helping a patient achieve or meet their health goals. This gives me validation to why I chose to become a nutrition professional and someday, a
It can reduce unwanted pregnancies, unplanned birth, and abortions. During prenatal visits an APN can provide early education about pregnancy related common conditions such as HTN and gestational diabetes, and provide diet education to avoid these problems. Midwives play an imperitive role when advising women on their care an it is exceptionally important to liase our information in a professional form. Guaranteeing the information is non-biased and informative allowing the women to have control on her decision making (NMC 2017). A quantitive research by Beglry (2010) agress that women who are in our care are to be considered as partners when deciding their plan of care. Within our role a professional relationship is central and women trust midwives deeply. I have found asking open-ended questions promotes and encoursges women to actively take part in the decision making.
The evaluation is the final part of my three mandatory written pieces of my graded unit. The final evaluation stage of the graded unit requires me to reflect on how the activity went, whilst highlighting my strengths, areas that require future development and identify my weaknesses, this, in turn, will enable me to adapt my practice to ensure I am continuously supporting patients to the standards set within The Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). Looking back on the activity, I am proud of myself for being able to plan and follow the activity through to complication. When completing the book with Mr X I found it to be an enjoyable activity that not only offered benefits to Mr X but also to myself, it allowed me to understand the importance of building a therapeutic relationship with a patient. Building a successful therapeutic relationship required me to have good communication and interpersonal skills, (Radcliffe and Ford, 2015), that allowed me to build a relationship with Mr X based on mutual trust and respect.
The Importance of Being On Time Respect is something that we all desire, but earning it is no easy task. One of the most respectable traits anyone can have, civilian or soldier can have is time management. When you report for duty, or be on time for your date, time management should be a must. By not managing your time well, you could disrupt not only the course of your day, but others as well. Keeping your word and showing up on time shows that you are reliable and appreciate the other person's time as well.
When I read this book I connected with Jane by being reminded of all the roadblocks I’ve hit during my basketball career, and I noticed there were learning experiences from Jane’s actions on how to conquer the journey of recovery.

I would soon learn how much she was struggling. After the first week went by I began to pick up on the tendencies of my patients. While I was helping another patient eat she would ask me what day it was so she could look it up on her calendar. Once the calendar that sat alongside her plate was marked with her blue inked pen, it would be a few minutes before she asked again.
