What is time management? Time management is the core of a person’s actions for their intention to improve their efficiency. Time management is not about working harder than other people, but more efficiently. In order for us to achieve a great deal more we don’t necessarily need to up our efforts but instead improve on our time management techniques. These techniques will involve us setting goals, allocating the right amount of time to a task, establishing priorities and preparing and scheduling the steps needed to accomplish the goals. In general, time management is about being one step ahead of what needs to be completed which increases our levels of effectiveness and output. When we think of time management we tend to think about time managing on a personal level, also defined as overseeing our time being spent wisely by completing the things we need to do first and then making more time available to do the things we want next.
What I want to achieve in the next three years is a first class degree in accountancy. I know that this is a monumental task to achieve and I also know that it will require a lot of hard work, dedication and motivation to succeed. The degree will hopefully …show more content…

This would allow me to complete much more work in a day. When I do start my work I tend to carry on for a few hours without a break and then I will tend to get bored and will leave my work do something else that interests me more. So what I need to do is implement short little breaks into my daily routine so I do not get bored and can carry on with my work for longer. What I find hard is to say is no. I constantly have friends or cousins who are asking me to do things with them whether it is to go cinemas, out to eat, play football or even go clubbing I find it hard to say no. I need to learn to say no. This way I am prioritising what I need
