This means that Scripture gives us everything that we need in order to be obedient to God. It teaches us truths about God, salvation, and everything of eternal significance. DeYoung claims that one reason this doctrine is so important is because Jesus is often identified as the Logos or Word (John 1). God speaks though Jesus because he is “God’s full and final revelation of himself (50).” This is a truth that is deeply woven into Scripture and shows us the importance of Scripture in pointing man to God. The doctrine of sufficiency also means that no one should take away or add to scripture.
My faith is my strength. Thus, I am here to touch everyone and witness to his holy love for you all. Since that moment only a few, the spirit has sent me too have rejected his message. This is why I pray without cease My God has revealed all to me. Yet I am here and I will follow without deviation from his holy plan.
The Bible is God’s message to man. It is an unfolding of God’s truth to man so man might find a path back to God and a basis for fellowship with Him. Our faith can rest upon the Word of God. The written Word reveals the Living Word. With a solid scriptural foundation, we can intelligently and convincingly present the Good News.
Until someone is in the word of God and is coming to know Him, they are blinded, all they know is the love in which the world believes is true. 1 John 4:7 says “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God” (The Holy Bible). The true love of God is something that can only be found in fully knowing God Himself. Knowing God means knowing His love: His perfect, divine, and evident love, as pictured in 1 John. As we learn of God, we learn of His love and His love becomes known to us that we may love God and man like God loves us.
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus tells us to, “Go and make disciples of all nations”. God wants us to share our Christian faith with copious amounts of people all over the world through our words, actions, and prayers. After you talk to someone about their faith you can pray that what you shared will convince them to come to Jesus. You can pray that God will guide the missionary groups who are fulfilling their duties to God in other parts of the world. Whatever you are doing, do it consistent with what God wants, as you never know how you are going to influence somebody.
Even in today’s contemporary world the same principle should be a benchmark in our day to day living. Jesus summarised is required of us, human beings by God. He responded with this same dual ethic: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and your neighbour as yourself”. (Matt 22:36-40). To love God and be faithful to him with all my heart is the ethic of righteousness, the payback to God for his loving grace.
Jesus is teaching his followers to ask God with complete trust in His faithfulness so that they are empowered to abide by Jesus’ precepts in his sermon and not rely on their own strength (Hinkle, 2002). III. Objective of righteous life (Matt 6:16 - 7:12) Additionally, Jesus puts the emphasis on the essence of one’s worship to God by urging his followers to have a sincere and honest heart when
Introduction: “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus saud to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And te second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law.” (Matthew 22:36-40) The want to follow Gods commandments is within a sense of Holiness.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be 4th day: Holy Spirit of God, look upon Your Servant Brother Stanislaus, who throughout his life firmly defended the Catholic faith and showed willingness to witness to it by a martyr’s death, grant us the grace, that we may steadfastly grow in faith and courageously profess it in every moment of life. Amen. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be 5th day: God, Our Father, look upon Your Servant Brother Stanislaus, who trusting in the help of Your providence, in spite of many
