Blink of an eye a semester has passed. We all were busy in studying and working. I have learned much from that. During the semester,we were asked to read Aesop’s Fables and have a taste of the stories. There were a great many new words and sentence patterns,writing techniques and English learning techniques,ad so on. All of them are worth learning,and some of them are as follows.
When I read the stories,I always met some new words,including some Old English words such as thy and thou,etc, which made it difficult of me to understand the stories. Thy is an old-fashioned,poetic,or religious word for “your” when you are talking to one person,and it also used in some poems and religious situations. For example,honor thy father and thy mother.
Besides,there also were some sentence patterns attracted me a lot such as periodic. For instance,“it is just what I deserve; for I,who am only a butcher,should not have turned piper to please you。”which was shown in The Kid and the Wolf. It made the story more colorful. “Woe is me!”which appeared in many stories,also made a deep impression on me. How interesting a sentence! It means that such a regret to me. We may say the moment we realize that we made a mistake which we would come over if we had done it with deep consideration.

Firstly,we wasted too much time on talking about the software. If we had made the best use of the time,we would learn much more. Secondly,we had a little to make conversation with the teacher,due to with we had so many problems that could not be solved. Thirdly,we had a few exercise on the class. As far as I’m concerned,it can improve the efficiency to do some exercise on the class;because the teacher can melt away our confusion in no time,which can impress much more. I hope that we an solve these problems in the coming
