During the first course I came across new tasks in my learning period, tasks that are quite difficult at the beginning, but at the same time really helpful for the years that will come. The first one is PBL, a completely new learning experience that helped me improve my working in a group skills, skills that I didn 't posses in the past due to the lack of practice within a group in my previous school years. The second task is Self-study, which is also a new experience for me at this degree and I think that is really helpful for the future years to know how to search and find the required literature for the group meetings, skills that will contribute not only for studying but also for improvement of life. Adding to the new tasks that I came across during the course, I also wanted to improve my personal skills, such as notes structure, active participation in the group meeting discussion and paraphrasing the information in my own words for a better learning, skills that will be presented in more detail during the self-reflection report. Firstly, I am going to present my PBL skills in the beginning of the course, learning objectives and at what degree I achieved them or not, and the skills that I posses now at the end of the course. As a group member I learnt to actively participate in the group conversations with clear points that are understandable for everyone, to listen carefully the other fellow students ' points and if needed to agree or disagree with them based on the

In Project #1, I chose to make a rhetorical analysis of a chapter from Jason Fagone 's book Ingenious: A True Story Of Invention, Automotive Daring, And The Race To Revive America, "How to spend your entire income building a car to travel 100 miles on a gallon of gas. " The first chapter mainly focuses on two main characters: Kevin and Jen. Mr. Fagone introduces us to them by telling us how they both met, grew up, where they went to school and what for, where they worked, and how they started working together on building the car for X Prize. Now, since my goal for this blog is to see my progress and journey to becoming a better science writer, I started reading the chapter over and over. In the beginning, I thought that "Writing for Science"
One of the most important actions that a student can take, is to be honest, and self-reflective, about the level of understanding achieved after completing any course within his/her education career. From my personal view, I feel that this class provided me with a great introduction to the MHA program, and is setting me up for successful in this educational program; but with that being said I would not pretend that I was able to assimilate every concept that was presented in this course, I would definitely need to continue to review the material in this course and on the MHA program overall, so that I could be a knowledgeable, and effective Health Care Manager. When it comes to my ability to discuss the different learning outcomes, I have to say that I definitely acquired a much deeper understanding of the material presented in this course. The materials were not difficult concepts to understand, but sometimes the way the material was delivered made it a difficult task just to read through the information, but as I would imagine, we are trying to achieve an education at a much higher level, which requires the processing and understanding of much more complex information, that sometimes will be
I have a greater understanding of the importance of planning any activity, breaking down all that is required, in terms of materials and my aims. The planning stage of my graded unit was vital for me as it ensured I was fully prepared and ready to undertake the final activity. Whilst undertaken this activity, I have shown a good understanding of the NMC Codes of Conduct which I feel I have adhered to throughout the entire activity. The skills and knowledge I have gained during my HNC studied whilst in class and within placement has allowed me to successfully complete this graded

Introduction After the Advanced Skills Facilitation course, I had learned many counselling skills in group counselling and different settings of group counselling. Also, it provided a lot of exercises for us to practice group counselling sessions. Thus, there are many things that I can make a reflection on it.
Introduction Team leadership encompasses many things. It may seem like a simple and small task, but in a real sense, it is complex and comes with responsibilities, and commonly, it determines the success of any team or a group. However, the value of teamwork should not be overemphasized considering that all organizations need individuals and personnel who are willing to share ideas, listen to others and contribute to the problem solving of any given group or a company. Team leaders should have the ability, authority, and power to analyze data and information with a team of people with a common aim and objective as well as issues. The leader should understand the dynamic patterns, the connections and relations between paramount factors in these objectives, aims and issues that help in the analysis process.

Much discussion is devoted to the literature regarding group work as it remains an integral part of the social work field. Group work is important as “the need to belong is one of the most basic and powerful human needs as well as the most social” (Ashford, & Lecroy, 2008, pg. 140). Group work is found to be an effective intervention and has become a major treatment modality in the mental health services (Knight, 2017; Clements, 2008). This intervention has been found just as effective as an individual intervention (Knight, 2017). Groups have played an instrumental part in transforming how the social work field thinks about the helping process for clients.
Team Work - I 've felt like I work very well in teams, although I do also work well alone, it feels great working alongside people who can help you get a job done efficiently and easily, especially if you grow to like those people which in my past experiences has always been the case; so I 'm very used to working with teams. Maturity - I believe maturity extends far beyond what a lot of people would interpret it as. It accounts for more than just not laughing at immature jokes and being able to be professional when faced with a task. Sensitivity and empathy I think are two important traits which come along with the idea of maturity. Sensitivity, of course, accounts for how one talks to others, I 'm sure we 're all very tired of seeing staff members on other servers that are there just for the purpose of saying they got a moderator position on that server so when it comes to moderating, they 're very lethargic with their work and can be emotionless when monotonously speaking with you.
Introduction Leadership is the art of empowering people around you to achieve a goal. As a leader I want to help others become leaders themselves. I firmly believe that by leading based on my values this will be accomplished. I have had many leadership influences throughout my career. Some of them showed me the way I wanted to someday lead and others showed me exactly how not to.
