In today’s society it has become sexist to prefer to replaces the word of an unknown person’s gender, so instead we use the male pronoun. In example “the person who made this piece of art is magnificent, he should be famous!” We assume that the person who made it is a guy. To not make such a big deal, there are just as many solutions, but there are problems that come along with them. The more usage of the word “him” in these types of sentences have really down-graded and put down the female gender. Most people feel that this is a problem, it shoots down the aspects and expectations of girls. To end the arguing of what we should do to fix this, we shouldn’t have to worry about what people have to say, that way we don’t have to worry about whether or not if other people care about the proper way, in the end we are still talking about a person. …show more content…

Many would put on the emphasis of about how we just ignore the fact of pushing down women. Instead of solving the problem we could have just made it worse. When we choose not to care about what other people thought it gets worse. Then where would the chaos end, but there is more solutions.
Another way is to, instead of having a lack of effort, just use his or her. This way people can assume what they want but still have the other option. It is not really sexist but it works better than to not have anything at all. The only thing wrong with that is the order, some people are picky and stubborn and will still make a big deal about
