In Night by Elie Wiesel, Elie had to endure Nazi rule while traveling by train and in concentration camps. Elie had dedication and cooperation, two of the main reasons why he survived. Elie emphasizes dedication throughout the book by using his father and God as models for what to aspire to and live for. Elie would have let them down and leave his father alone if he had given up on them.
