Although the character dies in the hands of Darth Vader from the duel of his fate. This gives Luke Skywalker his development as a whole character. As in “The Odyssey” how Athena is mentor to Odysseus. A man named Joseph Campbell made a perfect archetype for the main character called “The Hero’s Journey.” Often described as three parts the separation, the initiation, and lastly the return. He says he is captain of the Millenium Falcon, a spaceship. Says that they are looking for a ride through passage of the Alderaan system. Obi-wan asks for a fast ship. Han Solo says his ship “made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs.” Obi-wan asks him not to ask any questions. Han Solo says they have to give them ten thousand to leave. Luke says they can't pay that type of money.

People have discussed their views about the narrative of Luke. Some have said the book of Luke has a great desire to advance the kingdom of God. Then others have said that because Luke shares valuable information, Luke has an intention to share his spiritual condition. When we look closer to the book of Luke we notice it is remarkable. Since Luke finds it hard to conform, he is always punished in several different ways, but these punishments never seem to bother him. There is a scene near the end of the movie, where he is given a punishment that eventually made him give up. He pleaded to stop the punishment. Screaming to stop the bosses from hitting him telling them that he finally has his mind right. Although it was only for a short while, he acted as if he was conforming.
