Task 1 d- Discuss the contribution and role of employees in your chosen organization in creating a resilient and responsive environment
According to Public Health Emergency (2017), organization resilience has to be considered at a number of different levels one being Individual Resilience which deals with behaviors, thoughts, and actions that promote personal wellbeing and mental health. People can develop the ability to withstand and recover from stress and return to a state of mental health by using effective coping strategies. In every organization there is room for growth therefore, there are things that Eve Anderson Recruitment Limited can do to encourage a higher degree of resilience. Homewood Human Solutions (2013) listed a few;
1. Clarity of Purpose- clearly communicating the purpose and objectives of the team and providing role clarity is the foundation upon which resilience is built.
2. Encourage team cohesion- a resilient team is one in which people have a shared sense of purpose and connectedness. They work effectively together without displaying negative behaviors and support each other during tough periods. Team cohesion can be built through social activities, group trainings, celebrating individual and group achievements, regular informal team get-togethers and creating a culture of mutual trust and respect.
3. Understand workload- some firms are trying to do more with less, but unmanageable workloads that require employees to consistently work long hours and endure unrelenting stress can completely undermine any efforts to nurture resilience and hurt the organization through poor productivity and reduced …show more content…

In order to be relevant in an organisation you must be in involved in CPD (Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL), (2014). According to ITOL (2014), in order to enhance my capabilities in managing an agile organisation, CPD is a necessary contribution in my career if I am to be a role model of the commitment and learning and development expected from others. Moreover, some CPD activities that I believe will assist me in managing an agile organisation are: Development of personal and practical skills through activities such as shadowing and delivering/receiving coaching, undertaking academic courses that have are clearly linked to my professional role, additional training and development and working across department to get a wider knowledge of all aspects of the organisation (RICS,
