3.3.1 Background of the problems in restaurant industry
Restaurant dealing with human beings, a strange set of creatures who are hard to satisfy. Different people have different desires. Since satisfying of every customer’s needs is the main aim of any restaurant it is more difficult in following a fixed format. No. of reserved tables shows an highlighting profit at the yearend as those are the main income generating products for an any restaurant. Making customers happy during their visit of restaurant is the target of restaurant. In order to do that restaurant should provide a great combination of offers, promotion packages as well as a good service to the customers.

• The main problem of this restaurant is that they do not have a standardized reservation system for their organization.
• It does not provide user friendly navigation though out the system.
• Absence of fully automated report generating system to carry out the managerial decision making process efficiently.
• Not providing prior notice on the reservation details by the system creates a major losses in sudden reservation cancellation.
• The same will not addressing large number of customers base or handle rush hours during season times as they acquire a limited number of highly skilled employees.
3.3.3 Summary of interviews and questionnaires
The interview that was carried out with the manager of the Seafood Hut (Pvt) Ltd provide the structure of the organization, how the restaurant is currently functioning and the difficulties they are facing in addressing the market with the current ongoing system. And also he presented set of new requirements to be implemented to their reservation
