Reston, Virginia: Gateway to Excitement
I prefer to live in Reston, Virginia, rather than Sterling, Virginia, because I can ride the metro. There are two stores like Banana Republic and BeBe, where I like to go to shop. One of the reasons I want to live in Reston is because there are attractions like ice skating and a water fountain. It is open to the public every season and is beautiful. Around the water fountain is a place to be with friends and family because there you can spend a good evening drinking coffee while listening to the water fountain. Another reason I want to move there is because around the water fountain there are benches to sit and relax.
Reston is often visited it because it has a metro. For example, many people ride the metro to get to work and school. Reston’s metro has many accommodations. For example, the seats are very soft and smooth, so the passengers can get to their destination comfortably. And the metro has seats that are designed for each individual. The Reston metro has an excellent AC/Heater, which works perfectly. When you enter the train, you feel the temperature inside and it feels neither too cold nor hot. Another accommodation is when the metro is packed with a lot passengers, there are many handles that are attached to the ceiling of the train so passengers can hold on when the train is moving.

Whenever, the rock band presents their show is always full. For example, if there is people who wants to attend show they will have to go before two hours ahead because the parking gets packed. The children’s show are unique because there are children who dance when there is music playing. In addition there is activity for children like painting faces of animals and much
The colonies of Virginia and Massachusetts were very different places that attracted people with contrasting values. Virginians were risk-takers who sought wealth and fortune. Massachusetts settlers were families who wanted religious freedom. The colonies were structured differently and those who lived in them had distinct lifestyles. Personally, I would have preferred to live in Massachusetts because it was safer, self sustainable, had a strong sense of community, and the colonists did not squabble often with the Native population.
The Battle of Lexington and Concord was the very first fight of colonists against the British. The first shot of the battle was fired by the British according to the accounts of John Parker and Thomas Fessenden. As John Parke states, the first shot was fired by the British because they were colonists and they were not going to attack first unless they were fired upon first. John states that they fired at them and killed eight of their men. This account is reliable because it is an official testimony, he wouldn 't lie under oath.
The Confederate army in Murfreesboro was commanded by Gen. Braxton Bragg. Bragg had just returned from invading Kentucky before he arrived in Murfreesboro. In Kentucky, he had commanded the Army of Mississippi, and then he was joined my Maj. Gen. Kirby Smith’s army. This new combined army of around 38,000 was renamed the Army of Tennessee. Just like the Union General Buell, Bragg was cautious about engaging the Union troops and decided passivity was wise.

Trai Woodson Dean Corll was one of the friendliest guys in the neighborhood. He was born in Fort Wayne Indiana but later moved to Houston Texas, after his parents divorced, where he did his dirt. All of Dean's teachers decribed him as a pretty well behaved student who kept a nice grade average. In 1964 he was drafted into the military but was released on a discharge a year later. When he returned home he decided to help his family with their small candy selling business.

Valley forge was a winter camp for for soldiers to train. But the conditions at the camp were horrible with bad housing, food, weather, and clothing. Many quit due to those harsh conditions. If I were at Valley Forge I would have definitely quit. 50% of the soldier got diseases and 1,800 to 2,500 died.
Despite having lived a short life, Robert Peace was very well known, even as a child. Robert Peace was a man who was very much loved by the people in his community. He was always known as the “nerd” and the smart kid of the class since he was just three years old. “It’s because he’s so smart and knows everything.” (Hobbs 17)
Nia Ashley Professor BoBo History 2030-02 20 September 2016 Overton County Did you know Tennessee was the 16th state? People typically do not know the history behind their state. Tennessee became a state June 1, 1796, and now consists of 95 counties. Counties are what makes up a state and breaks down different subdivisions, without these counties states would have no direction and be one enormous blob.

As previously stated, George Washington and his troops had been stationed in New York, since June, because he was certain an attack would come in Manhattan. In early July, British troops arrived in Staten Island, commanded by Gen. William Howe. When they arrived, Howe offered the American troops a pardon, to which Washington replied “Those who have committed no fault want no pardon.” Washington sent more troops to Brooklyn for defence, even though he was convinced there would still be an attack in Manhattan. George Washington sent out troops to guard different areas, placing General Israel Putnam in charge of Brooklyn heights, sending Gen. John Sullivan to the south and William Alexander, Lord Stirling, to the southwest in the Heights of Guan.

An older man and woman with matching sweatshirts and pants were holding hands adoring each other and the park. Another woman with a pink ball cap and blue tank top with black shorts was right behind the older couple with what looked to be like 5-pound dumbbells in each of her hands. My attention was drifting away from the people walking the park to the louder and louder traffic noise on the busy main street of hamner. With people heading home from work, getting stuck in traffic, the sound of horns were enhancing and becoming a recurring sound. All in all, relaxation can easily be achieved at your local park.
