The reason why this is important is because it could lead to a brighter future for society. Three reasons why students should get paid for having awesome grades is because cash for good grades provide students with career-like rewards, it decreases dropout rates, and with the right incentive,could lead to success. All of those three reasons could and will result in success.

College is a big investment, but those will be higher-skilled, they can get scholarships to help with the cost, and they will be paid more. There are many people that think college is a waste of time, but people will be higher-skilled, it’s a good investment, and they will be more knowledgeable. “Education helps people do higher-skilled work, get jobs with better-paying companies or open their own businesses (Leonhardt)”. This shows that when people get a college education, then they will get a better job and will have a better work ethic. Majority of “college graduates - 86% - say that college has been a good investment for them personally ( Pew Social & Demographic Trends)”.
Academic achievement of the children has also proved the optimistic effects of parental choice. The studies have shown that school choice can help the children to get the benefit in multiple ways. Weinschrott and Kilgore (1998) stated that “increasing parents’ choice over how and where their children are educated gives parents a sense of ownership and enthusiasm that contribute directly to improvements in students’ performance” (p. 307). After being given more choice, fewer parents raised complaints about their schools (Bracey, 2008; Raty, Kasanen, & Laine, 2009). Naismith (1994) found a link between this satisfaction and feelings of greater involvement and the feeling of pride of ownership; Moe (2001) correlated parents’ satisfaction with having a greater degree of choice over the kind of education service they used.
It would help stifle obesity in our country as people would be able to afford healthier food. Even though each state would need to find their own appropriate minimum wage, the extra money would stimulate the economy. Income relates to resources in the sense that people are limited to what they can afford. Examples of psychological benefits due to a better education include reduced stress, social and psychological skills, and social networks. In other words with a better education you will have more resources. With more resources, “social support, sense of control over life, and high self-esteem”, you won’t have to worry about having to maintain a stable lifestyle. Not only that but the skills and foster traits you learn in school will help with a variety of life challenges.

In line with education, higher income usually is a result of high education qualifications, since these people have better access and more opportunities in the labour market, implying higher wages. Income allows people to have access and to buy better quality health services. Employment status can be considered as a result of education, as it has been discussed above, while income can be the result of the employment status, since employed are more likely to earn more and thus can be wealthier than the unemployed, retired and those who are unable to work.
