Each state making their own regulations, making it harder and more confusing for women to receive the procedure if they desire one. In order to make it easier for women to understand and undergo an abortion, regulations should be the same nationwide. Furthermore, abortions are still being debated to this day if they should or shouldn’t be legal. With most arguments there are always two side, with abortions the sides are pro-life and pro-choice. “The terms "pro-life" and "pro-choice" generally boil down to whether an individual thinks abortion should be banned or if it 's acceptable” (Head).
They believe this problem is occurring around the world as well. Statistics have shown, one-third of all pregnancies are aborted by the mother in the U.S. But, in other countries, these numbers are higher. In Russia, over 70% of all pregnancies are ended by abortion. Also, over 95% of all abortions in Russia, are performed for the convivence for the mother (Deem 1).
Don't let the Government’s regulation become contrary to the Act No. 23 of 2002 on child protection. Legalizing abortion, it should be followed by a clear mechanism involving related agencies, such as the police, the Ministry of Health and Hospitals. For example, must be evidenced by a team of experts with some requirements i.e., for victims of rape, the gestational age less than 40 days calculated from the first day of the last menstruation. For the prospective mother should abortion because of a medical emergency, the team of experts will give counseling before and after the action.
Pro-choice means choosing abortion is a woman’s right that should not be limited by governmental or religious authority, and which outweighs any right claimed for an embryo or fetus. Pregnant women will resort to unsafe illegal abortions if there is no legal option. Pro-life means that individual human life begins at fertilization, therefore, abortion is the immoral killing of an innocent human being. Abortion inflicts suffering on the unborn child, and some people say that it is unfair to allow abortion when couples who cannot biologically conceive are waiting to adopt (Should Abortion be Legal). So what is the right choice, pro-life or pro-choice?
There is pro life and pro choice over many years this has made a major impact on society and on women rights. Pro-choice and pro-life have different opinions on abortion. There are numerous poverty agricultural countries who are trying to become more modern but their beliefs are opposed to abortion. Numerous of these countries are very religious and disagree on abortion unless the mother is at risk. Many of the non developing countries are from Middle East, South America .
Main ethical issues are terminations of pregnancies in case of malformations, which may be supposed as eugenical abortion, inform consent and problem of decision-making process. This problem is closely related to moral status of fetus, ethical issue about the value of life and problem of what kind of condition should be tested for. Moral status of fetus and abortions In all prenatal diagnostic tests, there is an assumption that there may be
Introduction: Human life is governed by superior powers or laws, whether they are natural, religious, political, social, and most importantly ethical. Ethics, as defined in the Webster dictionary, are the set of rules governing our behavior on the basis of what is considered to be good or bad act (Webster Dictionary, 2004) . Biomedical ethics is the field of ethics dealing with medicine in its two fields: research and application or medical practice. Abortion is one of the controversial medical practices that has been widely discussed in bioethics. Abortion is the induced termination of pregnancy by ending the life of an embryo or fetus in the uterus during pregnancy through surgical procedures (Oxford Reference).
Ohio laws on productive rights 2014-2018 Abortion can be described as induced miscarriage or termination of pregnancy. Even though in developed countries like US it is one of the safest procedures, abortion has become politically explosive. Federal laws favor women’s right since the case of Roe vs Wade in 1973. The court has declared that a state cannot ban abortion before the point where a fetus can survive on its own(viable). In 1973, to everybody’s surprise Supreme court of United states issued a decision for the case of Roe v. Wade that abortion is woman’s decision.
Existing Spanish regulation permits women to choose to have an abortion in the first fourteen to twenty-two weeks on grounds that the foetus is seriously deformed or the mother risks being in danger during the birth. In 2014, former Justice Minister Mr. Alberto Luiz Gallardon proposed a bill that intended to balance the mother’s rights with the foetus’ rights through the restriction of women’s rights to have an abortion. The draft bill sought to permit termination of a pregnancy only in “cases of rape reported to the police or a medically certified threat to the mother’s physical or psychological health.” The bill does not permit the termination of a pregnancy on grounds that the foetus is seriously deformed. Many people perceived this part as contentious because it sought to restrict women’s right to abortion; consequently, eliciting mass protests and international criticism. International human rights movements such as Amnesty International argued that the draft bill would put the lives of girls and women at risk; restricting their right to abortion would steer them to illegal abortions.
