All hail Hitler, how many times have you heard people talking about all the things Hitler has done. To begin with, one could think how it was possible Hitler gained so much power from his people. Hitler begins his speech by reeling his people in by saying, “At a time when only deeds count and words are of little importance, it is not my intention to appear before you, the elected representatives of the German people, more often than absolutely necessary.” (Hitler p 1) Hitler’s speeches were always very well thought out and organized. In this speech Hitler started by reassuring his people that his intentions were pure and good desires, also convicting the enemy. In this speech Hitler uses logos, ethos and most importantly pathos. Upon first read one would argue that Adolf Hitler presents a very strong argument, however, a closer examination would reveal the many false analogies used. False analogy is one of the many devices used in persuasive writing and is often used to express one’s opinion. His arguments were very descriptive and this was a ploy used to give his audience something to relate to. For instance, he used common facts and compared it to something relatable in hopes of establishing a connection. The flaw of this technique is that it lacks proof ultimately weakening the argument’s credibility.

President Paul Von Hindenburg thought of Hitler as a threat to their power, so as a tactic to suppress his authority, they thought by electing him into office and appointing him chancellor was enough for him to feel some sort of power and settle down. Hitler was explaining to the people of Germany the actions he took and justifications of his actions towards abolition of the Treaty of Versailles. The speech showed that Hitler, the leader of Germany, had planned to abolish the Treaty of Versailles which weakened Germany immensely. To bring prosperity to Germany again, Hitler decided to reverse everything the treaty had done to Germany. The speech by Hitler showed his pride and there was hint of him rejoicing in his own achievement that he did not just pay lips service, but delivered what he promised the people.

Donald Trump in his speech highlights issues that he said should be probed, for example, savagery in the countries "inward urban communities," an instructional framework that is flush with money, and wrongdoing, groups and medications that have taken excessively numerous lives. Whereas, Adolf Hitler in his speech also concentrates on vindictiveness among countries and delinquency among certain groups in Germany. With the similarities, there also exists some differences between Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump in terms of speaking skills.
