This province produces all sorts of grain or corn, the inhabitants likewise breed all sorts of Cattle, in great quantities, which they supply the Merchants of New York and Philadelphia, to carry on their trade, to all the American Islands; but were they a distinct Government, (having very good barbours) merchants would be encouraged to settle amongst them, and they might become a considerable trading people; whereas, at present, they have few or no ships, but coasting vessels, and they are supplied from New York ,and Philadelphia with English Manufacturers having none of their own. New Jersey has large areas of farmland. The settlers of the New Jersey colony made a living by hunting, fishing and farming. Ashes from
Both Virginia and Massachusetts had pros and cons, but if I were to choose where I would live, I would choose Virginia, because of the lenient life style and acceptance of different views. English settlers came from their homes for different reasons and each with different goals to pursue. Both had very distinct economies and social structures that relied heavily on labor. Although unlike Massachusetts, Virginia had more interesting encounters with natives.
Most of the colonies in America were settled by the English, which makes them similar in many designs. However, there are a few aspects that differentiate between colonies, such as in the Chesapeake and New England regions. Reasons for settlement, religions, and geography all played an important role in the development of colonies in these regions. These conditions were natural and mostly subject to circumstances and conditions that were unchangeable. Nonetheless, no matter the modest causes, the effects were very substantial in helping to develop the uniqueness of each region.

In a recent study, 61% of Puerto Rican voters were in favor of being recognized as an independent nation. Even though they are legal United State citizens, they have absolutely no voting rights, no federal medicare/medicaid rights, and no federal tax return rights. For this reason it is not right for Puerto Ricans to be looked at as imperfect citizens. In addition Puerto Rico has a member in Congress, and has completely no voting rights but is only there to express opinions. As of now the United States can deny access to Puerto Rico from any national law they choose because they are not a state. However they can reject laws that they do not agree with even though they are not a state.
Write a paragraph explaining why YOU THINK the colonists, despite having long odds for independence in 1776, were able to achieve their independence by 1783.
I grew up in a military family so, we lived in various places. In Tennessee, it got very cold and snowed every winter. In Hawaii, we near the edge of a volcano crater. We ate mochi and musubi almost every day. I went to high school in Georgia. For me, the South was so different from the laid-back pace of Honolulu but, in some ways, they had a lot in common. Savannah, GA has beaches and islands scattered near it 's coastline. Hawaii and Georgia each are obsessed with their regional fruits. Both places are filled with military servicemen and their families. Needless to say, I don 't feel like I truly have a "hometown" but, instead, I can make any town my home.
As a result of my research on the assets found in the New England Colonies, I’ve found both positive and negative factors that could impact the result of relying on their region for aid. Based on these findings, the New England Colonies have different characteristics such as geography, climate, politics, economics, specializations, resources, and society that each affect the amount of trust we can permit them with as a beneficial aspect to our cause.

In “Perspectives on the Presidency” from The Presidency in a Separated System, Charles O. Jones argues that the United States government is not merely influenced and led by the president. Jones argues in favor of the United States having a separated system, rather than a presidential system. In this separated system, the role of the president varies, depending on resources and strategy. Jones proceeds to discuss two types of perspectives of the president; the Dominant Perspective and the Alternative Perspective. In the Dominant Perspective, political parties are stronger than they normally are in a system of separated elections, the opposing party acts as a critic of the party in power, and the president is, idealistically, aggressive. However,
Around the 16th century people left Britain to come to North America (New World) for new opportunities in their lives. They came here for religious reasons, for owning land, and escaping bad situations. Once here they thought their lives were going to be much different, but actually not everyone was lucky enough to have a pleasant life. These English colonies were made for a different reason to help numerous people, but once the two colonies were settled each one had developed very differently. If given the choice in my opinion, the New England region would be the best choice to settle.
The New England consisted of the significant places such as New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Its geography, especially
Texas is well known for a lot of things, to being one of the biggest states in the US to JFK Assassination. Many people believe that Texas is probably one of the violent states because of many people owning guns and many prisoners being on death row. Numerous individuals has came up with a lot of stereotype for Texas and Texans. One of the most famous and favorable stereotypes are that Texas consist of many cowboys and cowgirls. Yes many of men and women are but, little do they know that more than 85% of the Texas population lives in urban areas. Another well-known stereotype and personally my favorite, is that everything is bigger in Texas. This stereotype is very true, for instance there are bigger houses, schools, football,
