Rhonda Jacobs Thompson, 82, of Woodville, Idaho, was surrounded by loved ones when she peacefully passed away on January 21, 2057 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the first of five children born to Marcello and Kim Jacobs, April 5, 1975 in San Diego, California. Rhonda graduated from Serrano High School in 1993. After high school, she attended Ricks College. She received her Cosmetology license in 1996 from Career Beauty College in Rexburg, Idaho. Rhonda met her first husband Jeff Ingram in 1997, when she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had three sons; Jeffrey, Nicholas, and Alex Ingram. Rhonda divorced Jeff in 2003. Always making a community difference, she gave countless hours to educate and counsel male offenders of Domestic Violence. During this time, she obtained her Ph.D. in Social Work from Idaho State University 2027. Shortly after, she accepted her dream job as Associate Professor at Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho). While at BYU-Idaho, she served as Department Chair of the Social Work Department. Rhonda’s notable service left a positive impact on many lives through her diligent work as a social worker and educator. Her honesty and integrity was demonstrated in all areas of her life.
