Richard Evonitz was was born in Columbia on July 29, 1963 and died on June 27, 2002 by taking his own life. Richard was known as a serial killer, kidnapper, and rapist of 3 young girls. When Richard was a young teen, he started drinking and smoking around the ages of 12 and 13 and had the reputation of having a bad temper. As Richard got older, his bad behaviors started to get worse, so his mother suggested that he should join the Navy. He did this for 9 years, and it made him an enjoyable family man who had a great sense of humor. Prior to his serial killing acts, he was involved in previous crimes and situations. Her name was Kara Robinson and she was only 15 years old. Richard had gotten her by holding a gun pointed to her head and making her crawl into a green container in the back of his car. Evonitz had held her captive in his apartment and would make her watch porn and the news, which talked about her abduction. He would randomly pause on these shows and would then start to rape her over and over again. This went on for a total of 18 hours. Throughout the night, Evonitz had fallen asleep and Kara was able to escape her handcuffs, from which then on she ran to the police to report him and take them to his apartment. After noticing that Kara had escaped, Richard had decided to do this as well and went to a hotel in Jacksonville, Fl. He did this because he knew he would be reported and the police would try to find him. When getting to Florida, he stayed in a motel for 2 days and decided to call up his sister one day to talk and have breakfast. While eating, he confessed all of his secrets to his sister and she called the police on him. When doing this, Evonitz had ran to his car, but it was already too late because the police had already caught up with him. Richard had fled onto streets going 120 mph with no lights on and was going the opposite way of traffic. Before he even made this decision, police had surrounded him and begged him to drop the gun. Since he wouldn’t follow their commands, they sent out the K9 and the dog bit him 16 times right before he put the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. When taking this to trial, this was an issue and was also not an issue. According to one of my sources, the families of the girls both believed that it was a good decision to make and was also not a good decision to make. Ramirez killed at least fourteen people in his spree while raping and torturing many more. His criminal beginnings turned to violence in June of 1984 with his first known slaying of 79-year-old Jennie Vincow. Vincow was sexually assaulted, stabbed and ultimately killed in her home. Authorities had not yet caught Ramirez after this brutal homicide, therefore he was free to continue his spree on countless more helpless victims.

Ted Bundy was a notorious serial murderer who’s reign of terror lasted from 1974 to 1978. Bundy was convicted of three homicides and was sentenced to death for all three charges. However, at the time of his execution, Bundy confessed to 30 murders however the exact number of victims is still unknown. Bundy’s crimes evolved over time but he was both a sexual sadist and a necrophiliac serial killer. At the beginning of his rampage, Bundy would sneak into the victims house in the middle of the night, violently attack them while they were sleeping with a blunt object and then Bundy would usually sexually assault them.
