“Rikki-tikki-tavi” Retelling The events that brought Rikki to his new home was that a high summer flood washed him out of his burrow. During the flood he was kicking, and clucking and got drained in a ditch on the side of the road. He then saw a little patch of grass floating and clung on to that but he lost his senses. Then he got revived, he was lying in the middle of a garden path.
