In the adventures of Huckleberry Finn written by Mark Twain, there are many ups and downs in the book that makes it very interesting and inspiring to read. People in the book inspired other characters to do certain things like Mrs. Watson to enslave Jim and Jim runs away. And Pap Finn who abuses his son Huck and has him run away. Pap Finn is the father of Huck Finn he’s an abusive father who is a southern white father and doesn’t own slaves but is racist and just terrible to African Americans. Pap influenced Huck to run away from his home because of a specific incident that happened in a shack.
Doodle is responsible for his own death for many reasons. One reason is Doodle knew he had a heart condition, yet he continued to overwork himself. Another reason is Doodle knew the consequences of being pushed too hard, but he did not try hard enough to persuade his brother otherwise. The final reason is when Doodle was running in the rain, he should have realized something was wrong and stopped sooner. Although these are good reasons, the majority believe that the narrator is responsible for Doodle’s death.
Finally, when he returned his homeland Ithaca and disguised as a beggar because he can fight alone, so he has to know which people’s hearts still loyal to him. I think it’s the main lie that this book. Also, in my opinion, even though it was lying, it wasn’t a bad thing because the only one way he entered his hall and beat up the suitors. Also, the gods help him to do this thing. In the book of the Odyssey, Odysseus’s lied at times and I think they all were an important part of this book.

Therefore; all that guilt and shame led Norman to hang himself. The irony that lays in his story is how he earned all these medals and ribbons that represented bravery.
Franz was hoping to adopt McCandless after he came back from his trip. Finally, Westerberg never had someone to talk to. Wayne Westerberg was an independent person until he met McCandless. Wayne Westerberg says “We talked for hours about books”. There aren’t many people that like to talk about books in Carthage like McCandless did.
In Fahrenheit 451 Montag becomes an outsider when he starts to collect and read books. This is considered being an outsider in this society because they believe reading books should be frowned upon. “Montag had done nothing. His hand had done it all, his hand, with a brain of its own…” (Bradbury 37). This quote is showing how he didn’t think about grabbing one of the books he just did it.
This is true because two nights after the president’s murder Federal soldiers came looking for Mary’s son John Jr. As I mentioned earlier, John Jr. was a conspirator for Booth. At that moment, Powell arrived looking for a safe place to hide. Major H.W. Smith questioned Powell and Powell claimed he was there to dig a gutter for Mary. Major H.W Smith then asked Mary if she knew this man and she said,” Before God, sir, I do not know this man, and have never seen him, and I did not hire him to dig a gutter for me.” This is obviously a lie that Louis Powell and Mary Surratt told to Major H.W.
Good Morning Vera, Thanks for inviting me to speak in your class. Other than my thesis defense, I 've never read my words out loud to a broader audience. I read somewhere that you wrote your desertion on Kateri Tekakwitha. In my memoir, I wrote about my experience seeing Kateri in Auriesville, NY at the Shrine of the North American Martyr. I looked at my mom all confused, because I had never seen an indian statue by an altar in plain view.
