There have been many shows over the years that portray inappropriate trends and have short skits. Some of these shows that have various skits are “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” “Robot Chicken,” etc. “Robot Chicken” is a show with a series of pop-culture parodies and uses stop-motion animation of toys and dolls. The creators of this series are Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. This stop-motion series is broadcasted on a channel called, “Adult Swim.” There has been some controversy with this series and other shows similar to this. In the series, it tends to show different ways it is inappropriate like talking about sexual fantasies and/or showing nudity. The characters would say improper words that show be censored. According to IMDb, it says, “Some very crude references to sex are made such as to masturbation, intercourse, prostitution, strippers, pornography, and fetishes. There is crude and sexual humor throughout the show,”(1). Children should not be watching this show due to the inappropriate phrases of sexual intercourse and nudity. Satire can have many serious repercussions, including public backlash. Though satire can come off offensive, it is paramount to not censor who we are as people. Many comedies have and can cross the line of what people find acceptable in modern day America. Albeit our constitution guarantees the right to liberation of speech, it is often challenged by the public who find some satirical comedy to be morally disputable. As our society grows, so does our consciousness on what is politically correct and falls under our moral values.

Cartoon Network was meant for children between the age eight to twelve. Kids have access to Cartoon Network because that 's one of the few channels that parents can trust. They have decided to air some of their shows at eight o 'clock at night, right in the middle of prime time. Now parents are going to have to supervise their kids while they are watching television because the one channel they did not have to supervise is airing some of the most explicit and gruesome shows. When the commercials for shows that are premiered on Adult Swim they have adult content that is included and kids are getting the idea that these things are all right to do and say.
