Rodeo Mornings The sound of the alarm clock going off and the sound of the horses neighing is what most of us hear every morning. The rodeo life isn’t for everyone, some people don’t seem to realize how hard it is. Rodeo mornings are always crazy,we got so much to do in so little time. The beginning of a busy weekend consists of, getting up at the crack of dawn to get the horses fed, and gathering up all the equipment/ tack and making sure we have everything we need because there is no time to turn around if we forgot something. Once we get our tack and everything loaded in the trailer it’s time to hook up the truck and trailer and make sure the tire pressure is good, and then it’s time to get the horses from the barn and wrap their legs and get them loaded in the trailer so we can get on the road. The joy of having a hauling partner, they are in charge of the radio and playing good music and helping with directions so that we don’t get lost. The bad thing about driving long distances is sometimes we have no idea where we are going. Seeing all the trailers that were already there and trying to figure out where to park sometimes can be hectic. Sometimes the parking isn’t the greatest sometimes we have to park in the worst spots because of it being too crowded. After we get parked, we go look at the arena and we see if it’s muddy, dry, and see there is any banners or things that might scare our horses. See how the alley way is so we know what we have to do when coming into the arena to make out run. After we're done looking at the arena, we go and get signed up. We grab our cards and fill them out with all of our information put what events were going to be doing and grab out numbers and hand the announcer our cards and our
