Others may give you famous personalities, such as Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Ophra and many more. Role models are people whose behavior, example, and/or success can be emulated by a younger person. For me, they are Bangtan Sonyeondan or widely known as BTS, in this article I would not be introducing who they are in detailed. But BTS is a 7-member idol group in Korea who debuted on June 13, 2013. They are composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. At first, I was never fond of Kpop in general because, first I cannot understand their language, second when I tried watching a MV of one famous group in Korea I got dizzy because of the camerawork (but MVs can vary depending on the artists’ concept), and lastly, I was just never a pop song fan. I preferred a mellow, sentimental songs that would drown you to reflect on yourself. Now going back to the topic, why Bangtan? They are seven males, they are Koreans, they are singers, rappers and dancers. Everything that I am not. Nothing similar, nothing to represent, nothing. So what drawn me to them? First I will tell you the summary on how I discovered BTS. I was browsing on Youtube and I happen to see this reaction video reacting on one of the BTS practice video on their song I am not sure if it was Danger or Fire. But still did not became a fan I mean I recognized their music and their talent in dancing but I was really not just into Kpop then, until the
She is my role model because she set high expectations for herself and achieved her goals. In her book there is a chapter about setting goals. She says that it is good to have big goals, but you also need to have achievable goals. An example of an achievable goal would be to get a hit that gets you on the base in a game. An example of a big goal would be to play division one softball.

A role model is a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated, for me that is Esther. I will soon be becoming a Bat Mitzvah and when I enter adulthood I inspire to be like Esther. For hundreds of years Esther’s has been seen as a heroine, but
Role models should be confident. They must believe that they have what it takes to accomplish what they are put up against. They believe
Positive role models are so important in our society, someone who they can look up to and be a positive impact on their lives. So many times, in our society, so many adolescences marvels at role models that have no talent like the Kardashian or these reality TV stars. I like the positive role models for adolescence that encourage them to make smart choices in their lives and builds them up overall. One positive role model for adolescence would have to be the rapper J Cole, there are a lot of rappers that talk about negative things in their music like violence and having the most money. The rapper J Cole sings about being positive and loving yourself, he is a lot different then other rappers in our society, the reason I picked him is because

Many people have a person that they look up to and who encourages them. It 's someone who I think doesn 't give up and gets back up when they fall down, who has an impact to other people around them and they work for what they have earned. A person that is a role model to me is a man named Kobe Bryant. He is a basketball player that accomplished many things in his career. He was also born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Biography Today 44).
Becoming a role model means helping and showing guidance and support towards the child. Coming into a new home the child might have trust issues, might be shy, a little rude, scared. Depending on what has happened to the child in the past everyone has a different background story but don’t pressure the child to open up he/she will adapt differently towards other. People can’t one day wake up and think “ I want to become a foster/adoptive parent today”. To become a legal guardian of someone take commitment.
What is sociology? Before taking this class, I honestly had a very limited understanding of what sociology meant. However, because of the great diversity of people living in America, I have now realized how viewing the world with a sociological perspective can help me grasp the reality of many beliefs and practices in society today. Starting off with understanding the origin and purpose of sociology and transitioning into major topics such as race and ethnicity and education, I have gained new perspectives on how to observe the world around me.
Celebrities are not good role models because they don’t use their social media the right way, they give out the impression that money buys happiness, and they are presented to the world in an unrealistic way. Firstly, celebrities use social media and put out controversial content. The content they post gets a lot of attention due to the inappropriate message

Nice discussion post this week! You start off with a great definition of what leadership is. To me, it is hard to define what leadership is, especially in one sentence, but I agree with you that leadership is the action of leading others or an organization. I feel like it is when someone steps up and goes into the unknown as well. It is also important to mention that it is never just one single person.
Over the last few weeks, leadership class has succeeded in getting me to think deeply about my life, who I really am and who I hope to be. This is good because it helps me put proper measures in place that will help me accomplish those goals. A servant leader, as we have discussed in class is one who is servant-first. His main aim is to serve his people and do what is best for the people around him, whether he is in a leadership position or not.
