Role Of Art Essay

Ever since I can remember I've always had a natural inclination for art. Art is something that has always brought me joy, happiness and it was part of what made me who I am today. Art is a very important thing in my life it allows me to express how I feel in ways of painting and drawing instead of expressing my feelings through speech. Art gives me a more visual opportunity to show my emotions, and communicate on a larger scale.

My goals in the realm of art are to change minds, to challenge people's ideas of gender and sexuality. I believe that people should be more open and not so closed minded to others new experiences. I want to bring a new set of eyes and inspire change to a monotonous and colorless world.

One of the ways I have challenged

Art drives me to be creative it lets me express different emotions and allows me to challenge people's ideas of normal. I'm very innovative in ways that i bring new ideas and new things to change the minds of the masses. I am very flamboyant because I do not like to follow the standards of fashion. i create new rules in fashion for myself by wearing what i want and not giving in to other people's preconceived notions of fashion. I open up peoples minds to new styles and that they can wear what pleases themselves.

I want come out perpich because i feel that this school will allow me to bring new ideas to the table for other and will allow me to get ideas from other in turn. This school offers freedom of expression in all the ways that i have been told i can't express. Perpich would allow me to express my sexuality and allow me to be comfortable with being open about my sexuality. Perpich is an accepting environment that allows everyone to be open about you they are and to feel safe and be at home. I will contribute a fresh set of eyes and an open mind. I will bring new ideas that might have not been expressed before because of my alternative
