1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Thus it can be…show more content… The purpose of this study is to really understand what an infographic is, how to create an effective one and also how the hotels can benefit from the use of infographics. It may be true that the hotels may be familiar with this amazing tool, but it is also true to say that in real sense they do not understand what it is and how to use it effectively to enable them to meet their objectives.
1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
In this era of information overload the hotels should take advantage of infographics for them to effectively communicate with both their internal and external stakeholders. To some extent the firms in the hotels have tried to use infographics especially with its external stakeholders. Unfortunately, when it comes to infographics it is not enough to try, firms in this industry need to plan and invest in infographics for them to get the most benefit from them and thus meet their business objectives.
The hotels is characterized with stiff competition, to be left behind especially in information is wishing for death; sooner those firms who planned well and effectively used infographics will flourish leaving behind those who do not.
