Music. This one word is so powerful. Music can have a profound effect on almost all aspects of human life. If you talk to anyone involved in music they will tell you they nothing but positive things. Music can be quite an enjoyable hobby. Music improves your life in various ways. This can be anything from infants to the elderly. Music is improving human life day in and day out. Music is a unique language that includes mathematics, science, history, coordination, comprehension skills and mental fluency. There have been multiple music studies to link music to an enhanced life in plenty of ways. It has been well documented that music can calm, stimulate, change emotions, spark a memory, and even strengthened learning capabilities. Most importantly, music has many long lasting intellectual effects. Music all around gives everyone an opportunity to better themselves in many important aspects of life. The gift of music is like no other. It enhances students' abilities while creating potential educators who can share the unifying language of music and feel the common ties that the emotion and beauty of music bestow upon many. We need to ­ensure that we have music classes available for all passionate or curious students. The first step toward achieving this is ­community support is writing letters to school boards and local government officials urging them to create and fund more musical education programs. It is also effective to vote in officials that back your issue. A student's future success ­can come down to each letter that a caring community ­member may write.
