Title: Comparative Analysis of Roles of Friends in Surviving College Life Between Filipino and American Cultures Thesis Statement: There are similarities and differences in the roles of friends between Filipino and American cultures in surviving college life, namely: for similarities, they both need friends to survive and friends help them academically and emotionally. For differences, surviving the college life, Filipinos prefer friends while Americans prefer groups of friends to have roles in their survival. This is due to the fact that Filipinos can win friends easier the Americans. I. Friends play an important role in surviving college life. A. Interpersonal relationships have levels.

Unfortunately, I was forced to learn this the hard way when I attended the ‘Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars’ Summer Academy over the summer of my junior year.
