The killing of Mercutio in act 3 scene 1 started all the problems that made Romeo and Juliet more interesting. Juliet not wanting to marry Paris in Act 4 scene 1 causes people to think what will she do and how will this hurt her and people around her. When Romeo drank the poison in Act 5 scene 3 it was so sad because Juliet wasn’t dead so it made the story seems like their love is over because he killed himself. The cause of Act 3 scene 1 ended in Romeo getting banished and Romeo and Juliet planning to meet. The cause of Act 4 scene 1 ended in Juliet getting a fake poison from Friar and faking her death before her wedding. The cause of Act 5 scene 3 ended in Romeo and Juliet taking their lives and both their families ending the beef.
First Paragraph: In scene 1 of Act 3 Mercutio and Tybalt were playing around then Romeo got in the way and Tubal stabbed Mercutio. Nobody would believe Mercuric when he tried to tell his crew that he was hurt. When Mercutio died Romeo found Tybalt and killed him for killing Mercutio. When Tybalt died Romeo got banished. Romeo caused himself to get banished which the effect was that he couldn’t see Juliet and come into the city. If Romeo had avoided killing Tybalt he wouldn’t have got banished.

Romeo is to blame for Mercutio’s death in Act III of Romeo and Juliet. First of all, Romeo did not fight back when Tybalt insulted him. Tybalt calls Romeo a villain and other various names, but Romeo responds by saying (paraphrase), “I love you more than you believe for we are family, even if you are oblivious to this fact. I love the name Capulet as much as I love my own name”(3.1.72-75). When Romeo says this, Tybalt becomes confused and enraged.
Tybalt was Juliet’s cousin, so once he and Juliet were married, they were actually related. Romeo was pushed to kill him, but still, think about going out and killing one of your in laws. Juliet 's apparent death reveals the reactions and true emotions that her parents, The nurse and Paris felt towards her.
