Thus Juliet would not kill herself because Romeo is dead. So, Friar Laurence made some poor choices involving Romeo and Juliet’s relationship inevitably making him partially
If Friar didn’t marry them it would of not started the chain reactions of events that occur next. The play ends with three tragic deaths; those including being Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence is mostly to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet, because of he did things in secret, not communicating clearly, and not executing his plans. The first reason why Friar Laurence is to blame is because he married Romeo and Juliet.
Though I listed my beliefs of Romeo and Juliet's death people for some reason blame other characters or
When Friar John returns Friar LaThe person at most fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Lawrence. The Friar married the couple hoping for a good outcome but it came out in death and it was at fault of the Friar. The Friar had good intentions by helping Romeo and Juliet by getting married.
The reason that this marriage was so bad was because Romeo and Juliet were both very young to get married and Romeo was not very mature. Secondly, the friar regrets marrying the two and says, "These violent delights have violent ends / And in their triumph die, like fire and powder" (Act II Scene VI lines 9-10). This quote proves why this was a bad decision to marry the
Friar Lawrence allowed Romeo and Juliet to get married in secret which caused conflict in the story. The feud and Friar Laurence are to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The feud prevented Romeo and Juliet from being happily married. In Act I scene v,Juliet says, “My only love, sprung from my only hate!
All of this could have been avoided if the feud was never created because Romeo would have showed up and Tybalt wouldn't have gotten mad. Then in the end, Mercutio and Tybalt would still be alive. Some may say that it was Romeo's fault for showing up at the party and he was the cause of his own death but if lord Capulet simply told Tybalt to not fight at all, then they would be alive. Lord Capulet pressured Juliet into marrying Paris which created a domino effect with bad things.
The end of this story isn’t pretty, so whose fault was it? Friar Lawrence is the character most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because he was the character who assisted throughout the entire situation that Romeo and Juliet had. He agreed to marry the young lovers even though he was aware that their families were feuding, and he aided in Romeo and Juliet
Although there were many people to blame in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Lord Capulet’s harsh decision for Juliet about her marriage makes her feel very desperate for a solution. Juliet then goes to Friar Lawrence for a plan, which resulted in her death. Therefore Friar Lawrence is to blame. One of the factors to their deaths is Father Capulet forcing Juliet to marry Paris and making harsh statements.
Friar should have taken a bigger role in his plan and gave himself more responsibilities. There was a lack of communication between Romeo and Friar Laurence because he didn 't speak to him right before he left for Mantua only the night before. In addition to that Friar also should have warned Juliet about anything that could have went wrong and not manipulate her into thinking it was going to be easy. If Friar Laurence would have not been so worried about covering up his mistake of marrying them when he knew it was not approved of he would have been thinking clearer and the friar could have made a better plan that was not so complicated, If it wasn 't for that Romeo and Juliet would still be
Therefore the Friar Knew it was a bad idea, due to the fact that he called it a “secret” wedding. The Friar may have thought that he was just helping two young innocent lovers unite with each other in marriage, but what the only thing he did was make their lives more complicated. Just think about it, if the friar had never married Romeo and Juliet, it would have given
If Tybalt had not killed Mercutio, Romeo would not have gotten upset with Tybalt. When people found out about Tybalt being killed by Romeo, the Prince banished him from Verona. Since he gets banished it is harder for him to see Juliet, which also made it hard for the news about her being in a deep sleep to reach Romeo. These are my reasons on why Tybalt should also be to blame for the two
Romeo and Juliet trusted Friar Lawrence but in the end he let them down. Often the blows that hit us the hardest are the ones that come from a
“The blame Game” If i would have to pick any character in the book who caused all the problems i would have to say it was Romeo. I’m saying it’s romeo because he kept the marriage between him and juliet a secret, he killed tybalt, and he was very hasty. Friar laurence was responsible for marrying Romeo and Juliet. The nurse and them three was the only one’s that knew about it. If they wouldn’t have never kept the marriage a secret the prince wouldn’t have Romeo banned from the town and Romeo and Juliet could’ve lived happily ever after.
The blame is on Romeo because he acted too hastily throughout the play. He shouldn 't have asked Juliet to marry him so suddenly, and he should have thought more carefully bedfellows rushing back to Verona after hearing of Juliet 's death. He also acted violently and without thinking he killed Tybalt and later on, he killed Paris too. Romeo and Juliet were both going to get married, but first they needed to go to Friar Laurence 's cell. The father didn 't like that idea, but he saw that they were both really in love with each other, so he was going to marry them.
