When Romeo seen Juliet at the dance he instantly fell in love. “What lady’s that, which doth enrich the hand. Of yonder knight?” (Act 1, Scene 5) He forgets all about Rosaline and thinks Juliet is all he needs. From first sight Romeo wants to marry Juliet and he doesn 't even know her. But, Juliet also wants to marry him when she first seen Romeo. Juliet is careful though, more than Romeo.

Romeo and Juliet’s relationship has often been romanticized as being authentic while his love for Rosaline has been depicted as being a superficial infatuation. This is what many die-hard romantics want to believe; however, the text represents Romeo’s love for Rosaline as a genuine one—at least on Romeo’s part. In the beginning of the play, Romeo lashes out at love’s cruelty as do many heartbroken individuals. In Act I Scene I, the depressed Romeo describes love as a deadly poison, a smoke, a swollen sea, a madness, and a choking gall. One the most important characters in the play has to be Romeo because if wouldn’t have come up to Juliet the play would have been really different. Romeo is romantic, impulsive, and brave.

Watts is saying that we can't just say that we love someone, we have to feel our heart swell with the love we have for that person. Thus, Friar Laurence should have made sure Romeo should have known the plan before poisoning Juliet. Moreover, he didn’t get his message in time to Romeo so he couldn’t be informed of Juliet's situation.

Both Romeo and Juliet were very young and naive at the time and were not experienced in love. The whole story is a rollercoaster ride full of drama and emotion. Their destiny caused them to meet each other at the dinner party. At the start, Romeo did not want to go until his cousin Benvolio persuaded him to go to get his mind off Rosaline. This worked out perfectly because he ended up meeting Juliet. The second Romeo saw Juliet’s face, Romeo fell in love. This shows Romeo’s character. One hour ago he was grieving about Rosaline and right away he finds another girl. He fell in love to recover from his break up with Rosaline. After the two met, they wanted to get married right away even though their families hated each other. This action shows how desperate and impatient Romeo and Juliet was at that time. They made the wrong decisions at the wrong time and place. As a result of their marriage, the two fell even deeper in love so that they would be nothing without one another, locking their in their unavoidable deaths. What is Romeo’s emotional state through act one? Through act one Romeo’s emotional state was demonstrated as sad, depressed and sorrowful, along with love, and happiness. He was very depressed and sorrowful, due to Rosaline’s rejection. We also, see Romeo’s mood revealed as a state of agony, when he describes love as the opposite of what it should actually be. Love should be a joyful, and beautiful emotion, but Romeo sees it as a very painful and sad emotion. We can see this when he says to Benvolio :

People develop maturity, but the amount of immaturity makes the process go backwards. From the moment he sees her at the Capulet party, Romeo immediately falls in love with Juliet. They both fall head over heels for each other as the night progresses. During their time together, they completely put all things aside and forget everything about the world except for their love for one another. Most people seem to think this way about the romance between Romeo and Juliet, but in reality, they aren’t actually truly in love. Romeo and Juliet are not in love with each other because just a day before they met, he felt heartbroken because of a girl named Rosaline who didn 't love him, he pressures Juliet to profess her love to him, and after just barely meeting, they both agree to get married.

How far would one go to help those you love? I believe that there is a limit that one should go when helping someone. I believe in helping others but in Romeo and Juliet they took it too far. In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, nurse should be pardoned and Friar Lawrence and Rosaline should be punished.

The play, Romeo and Juliet, is about two star-crossed lovers that had been led to their death because of various actions of different characters. The actions that caused the death of these lovers were foolish. The characters that greatly impacted the death of Romeo and Juliet are the two households, Montague and Capulet, Friar Laurence and the two lovers themselves, Romeo and Juliet. Whether deliberately or unintentionally, their actions have all lead to the tragic death.

In “Michelle”, he attempts to express his feelings but can’t find the right words.

At the end of the play, both Romeo and Juliet are dead. Their death are the result of many different events and decisions. The prohibited wedding of Romeo and Juliet couldn’t have happened without Friar Laurence. First of all , Friar stupidly agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet, even though he knew it will cause later problems. In the beginning, Friar shows that he has tiny ambition of their marriage to perhaps work even the tiniest bit. So , he decides to marry the two lovers. However, as time goes on, Friar has guilt on the marriage Friar senses that this whole wedding is happening extremely fast and starts to have many second thoughts. If Friar had thought this overriding decision clearly through when he actually had the chance, he may have been able to put to a stop to prevent a lot of future tragedies.
