Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to talk to someone but you couldn 't due to problems in the past? If you can relate to this, I would recommend reading Romeo and Juliet. In the story Romeo and Juliet, Lord and Lady Montague and Lord and Lady Capulet are ultimately at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Due to lord and lady capulet and montague continuing their everlasting feud, romeo and juliet both ended up committing suicide.
Instead, Romeo made the dreadful mistake of fighting Tybalt, which ultimately led to him getting banished. Romeo could have saved his and Juliet’s future, but he was so desperate that he had to kill
I believe that Friar Lawrence is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. He easily could have prevented their love from being too strong by not marrying them. If he didn’t act so courageously and think that their marriage would end
William Shakespeare created a beautiful tale with both love and loss; it is called Romeo and Juliet. Romeo meets Juliet they fall in love and then kill themselves in a double suicide? This did not have to happen ,but did. Some blame Romeo and Juliet themselves and even the nurse, while they might have contributed into the death of the two star crossed lovers. Romeo and Juliet were young; they didn 't know any better, and the nurse did not want Juliet to feel as though she betrayed her.
He then fights Tybalt and kills him. Romeo chooses to ignore Prince Escalus’ rule that the Capulet and Montague families shall not fight, and is in turn banished from Verona. This makes everything between Juliet and himself difficult as he is so far away. If Romeo had not been banished, he and Juliet may have had a better chance at being happy together and the tragedy may not have occured. Finally, Romeo also displays his inability to listen to adults
He married them thinking it would stop the fighting between two households, and it did, but the young pair had to die in the process of making it so. His helping moved the story along and also kept Romeo and Juliet from killing themselves early on in the story. By advising them he advanced the plot and told them what they should do to be with each other, and to keep Juliet from being married to two men at once. Romeo 's rash decision on killing himself threw all of the Friar 's help down the drain. The result of Friar Lawrence 's council still ended with Romeo and Juliet 's untimely
Because of this situation she does not know how she should react to Tybalt's death; should she be grateful that it was Tybalt and not her husband or should she hate Romeo and stand by her blood family? She knows that either way she will lose someone that she loves. So the question is: what is worse, the loss of one to whom you are blood related or the loss of one your heart choose? In conclusion, the contrast between love and hate is mostly seen in Romeo and Juliet because of their forbidden love.
But even before Juliet knew it was Romeo she said, “If he’s married, I think I’ll die rather than marry anyone else. ”(1.5.134-135). She is saying that if this individual she just met is married, she rather die than marry anyone else, but when she gets told that its Romeo she knows he's not married but it is her worst rival. So Juliet could use this to escape marrying Paris, but also escape the family feuds. They weren’t in love because they were using this marriage to escape their families and other
“Immediately we do exile him hence. I have an interest in your hate’s proceeding” (Act iii scene 3).Romeo had just married Juliet, and he got banished because he killed Tybalt ,his joyfulness ended quickly because of his actions. Family and the things we love can be affected based on our actions, that is why we should be careful on how we act because an action that seems harmless may harm you and affect you in the over time. In the act where Romeo gets banished from Verona we can observe that his revenge led him to no good. Romeo lost a chance to live happily with his newly wed, things could’ve been different if Romeo would have left everything the way it was and not go against
Before dying Mercutio said he commanded a plague on both of the families which has a connection to the end of the novel in which the Capulet’s loose Juliet and the Montague’s loose Romeo. As you see what Benvolio was referring to was each of the families were going to have a major loss. Romeo didn’t want to fight but was forced too by his anger which he couldn’t control after seeing a family member getting killed. Before fighting with Tybalt, Romeo says “ Either thou or I must go with
This was where the Prince said “If you do not stop these outbreaks, you’ll pay with your lives.” Although the Capulets and Montagues tried to keep their hatred to themselves, Mercutio and Tybalt, the young people of each house, did not. The reason the family feud killed Juliet Capulet was because if the feud had not existed, Romeo and Juliet could have lived in peace and harmony. Furthermore, had the feud not existed, Friar Lawrence would not have had to keep their marriage a secret.
The fact that Romeo and Juliet where each from families that hated the other guaranteed they were doomed from the second they laid eyes on each other, so here death is the fault of the parents. In a way, if the Montagues and Capulet’s could’ve just been friends, all these deaths could’ve been avoided. Therefor the deaths were the parents were the parents fault, not the Friar’s. This is not accurate, because even if the families were best friends, Lord Capulet would have still wanted Juliet to marry Paris not Romeo , and they woul have gotten in a feud
Many characters in the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet are to blame for their deaths, because of reasons of fate or perhaps actions of other characters. However, the characters are not to completely blame for the tragedy for they were just a fragment that led up to the events. The feud between the families only made the couple 's love somewhat impossible, thus only an obstacle in their path that they themselves worsened. Had both lovers respected their families wishes the whole tragedy wouldn 't have happened and the casualties of the affair would 've still been alive. In other words, the ones to blame for this incident is Romeo and Juliet themselves, their hasty decisions led to conflicts, led to the deaths of others and ultimately causing the deaths of theirselves.
If Tybalt had not killed Mercutio, Romeo would not have gotten upset with Tybalt. When people found out about Tybalt being killed by Romeo, the Prince banished him from Verona. Since he gets banished it is harder for him to see Juliet, which also made it hard for the news about her being in a deep sleep to reach Romeo. These are my reasons on why Tybalt should also be to blame for the two
Romeo and Juliet died tragically and unnecessarily. Many characters in the book bear responsibility for their deaths in part, including the Friar and even Romeo and Juliet themselves. However; their parents and in particular, Juliet's parents, bear the brunt of the blame for keeping the feud alive. The parents were a product of their upbringing and environment, and the times in which they lived.
