For every action there is always a consequence. Romeo and Juliet is an affliction written by William Shakespeare and is about two unfortunate lovers who both yearn for each other, but are forbidden to and end a chaotic family feud due to their deaths. In Shakespeare’s play, puns and Romeo and Juliet’s actions emphasize how love overpowers obedience to their family, friends, and town.
In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare likes to use puns to show Juliet’s defiance towards her family. When Lady Capulet and Juliet talk in her room, Juliet feels that “yet no man like” him could “doth grieve [her] heart” (III.v.163). When Juliet says “grieve”, it emphasizes that she yearns for Romeo to be with her, but as for Lady Capulet she thinks that Juliet is angry at him for killing Tybalt. In

When Tybalt kills Mercutio it startles Romeo by wanting to get revenge, not thinking twice about the trouble he can get into. When Romeo witnesses his dear friend Mercutio’s death, he doesn’t hesitate to fight Tybalt and with this fight “this shall determine,” who will die no matter what troubles he has to go through (III.I. 7). Since Mercutio has died this causes Romeo to follow his sudden decision and does not stop to think of what he may get into. In addition, Juliet comes to Friar Lawrence desperately asking for help to stop the marriage between her and Paris in order to reconcile once again with Romeo. In addition, Juliet comes to Friar Lawrence desperately asking for help to stop the marriage between her and Paris in order to reconcile once again with Romeo or will “long to die” (IV.I. 3). Without Juliet asking Friar Lawrence for help, there wouldn’t be many other options to try and reunite with Romeo since he is banished. Shakespeare describing how love overcomes the cursed lovers reveals that unfortunate series of events happen because of their meager
Because of this, Romeo intervenes, and because of the intervention, Mercutio gets stabbed. Although Romeo did not want to fight, it was do or die. Romeo fights Tybalt and gets his revenge. Because of this, he was exiled and unable to pursue his relationship with Juliet, ending in the suicide of both Romeo and Juliet. Friar Lawrence is to blame for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he married them in secret, failed to deliver Romeo the letter pertaining to Juliet’s staged death, and left Juliet in the Capulet tomb alone.
Mercutio being an easily influenced guy caused his death and the 2 more. On the day of his own death, Mercutio was confronted by Tybalt. Tybalt tried to get a fight out of Mercutio without being the one to start the fight. Tybalt plan prevailed and Mercutio succumbed to his anger which eventually caused his own death. This leads up to Tybalt’s death, Romeo’s banishment, Friar Lawrence’s plan, and the unfortunate death of Romeo and Juliet.
Tybalt and Mercutio want to fight, but Romeo tries to stop it. He fails, and Mercutio dies. This angers Romeo and he chases after Tybalt and kills him. “That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio’s soul/Is but a little way above our heads,/Staying for thine to keep him company./Either thou or I,or both, must go with him.”
Blood Is On The Hands Of Three The play starts out with the prologue stating that the households fighting caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but there are actually three people responsible for it. William Shakespeare is the author of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The main events that occurred in the story started out by two head houses in Verona fighting. Their fighting caused the love between their children to be difficult.
Juliet is convincing herself to not cry any tears of sadness but to cry tears of joy because Romeo is alive. She goes about justifying this through realizing that Tybalt wanted to kill Romeo. This quote reveals that she is torn between the two choices of family and love. She is clearly trying to persuade herself to side with her husband and is attempting to rationalize his actions in order to be okay with the killing. She calls her tears “foolish,” which proves she is ashamed of the guilt she is feeling for her cousin’s death.
Romeo does nothing to fight back so Mercutio steps up and fight Tybalt but loses his life in doing so. After Mercutio dies Romeo is full of anger and craves vengeance, he immediately chases after Tybalt and kills him. Romeo starts off not wanting to fight but after the death of Mercutio he is conflicted with so many different emotions and he only listens to one, anger. Mercutio lost his life defending Romeo who refused to fight Tybalt, but his death made Romeo do the exact thing he lost his life for.
This quote shows that since they want Romeo dead Juliet and him have to split up. In Act 3 Scene 1 the Capulet’s says “Marry my child earky next Thursday morning. They is forcing Juliet into marriage nand now she hass to find a way out. Lord and Lady capulet bitterness have lead to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
In Act Three Scene One Mercutio is killed and says the famous quote, "a plague a' both your houses!" The Capulets and Montagues are both responsible for the death of Mercutio. The first reason is that the families choose to fight. My second is that there is no effort by both families to stop the fighting. My third reason is that it takes such an extreme measure to end the fighting and hostility between the families.
Which this was one of the first events that caused their death, though Friar Lawrence thought that their marriage might bring the two feuding families together to create peace. Also during the fight scene between Tybalt, Mercutio, and Romeo, Romeo blocked Mercutio from fighting with Tybalt and because Tybalt and Mercutio were making eye contact and still facing each other Tybalt goes underneath Romeo’s arm and kills Mercutio. Romeo would not let Mercutio kill Tybalt because
In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare, Romeo is responsible for the way the play unfolds. To begin with Romeo Kills Tybalt When Romeo sees his friend Mercutio slain by Tybalt, he express his anger by declaring “Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain? Away to heaven respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now! Now, Tybalt, take the ‘villain’ back again That late thou gavest me, for Mercutio’s soul Is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company. Either thou or I, or both, must go with him” (3.1.129-136).
Romeo never planned on killing Tybalt but since Tybalt killed Mercutio Romeo gets mad and kills
How Romeo is impatient Romeo was many different types of emotions such as bipolar or depressed but to me, I think that Romeo was mostly impatient in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. The meaning of inpatient is restlessly eager. Throughout the entire story Romeo was showing signs of impatience and did not think about what he was going to do next. There were many scenes where Romeo was being impatient and the first time was when he decided to go off and marry Juliet. They rushed into the marriage which caused friction in the households.
Tybalt challenges Romeo to a duel and he declines the challenge and insists that he won’t fight Tybalt. Mercutio is angered by Romeo’s “cowardice” and takes on Tybalt himself. Romeo wants Mercutio to stop fighting Tybalt so he decides that it’d be a good idea to block his arm in mid combat and Tybalt stabs Mercutio from under Romeo’s arm and Mercutio falls dead after rambling about plagues and a pun or two. Romeo doesn’t realize that it is his own fault that Mercutio died after Mercutio even blamed his wound on him. Romeo lets his emotions decide his actions and becomes enraged and ignores that Tybalt is now his family and fails to see that he was the reason Mercutio was killed.
Romeo allows his thirst for revenge to cloud his logical reasoning when he kills Tybalt who has just murdered Mercutio, Romeo’s best friend. Mercutio defends Romeo against Tybalt’s insults with comebacks and later his sword. As Romeo attempts to intervene, Mercutio is stabbed by Tybalt and Romeo is enraged. Once he finds out from Benvolio that the wound had killed him, Romeo,”Who had but newly entertained revenge,” (III.i.173), kills Tybalt and flees the scene. Romeo declined to
Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare 's most famous plays. It is about two teenagers who fall madly in love with each other, but aren 't suppose to be together due to their families past. But aside their families disliking of each other the two young teens decide to disobey their parents and marry each other. Not because they want to disobey their parents, but there love is so strong, and so powerful they have to be together. This Romantic love story ends in a deeply depressing suicide as Juliet had faked sleep to not marry Paris, the older man her father has chosen her to marry.
