After reading Romeos and juliet I claim that it is Romeo's fault for Romeo and Juliet's death. He caused Mercutio's death and he took drugs to kill himself which led to them juliet killing himself. I also think that it is partially Lord Capulet's fault for there death becuase he wants her to marry Paris.
Some people would say that it is neither of there fault and that is was Mercutio and Tybalt's fault. The reason they would say that it was there fault is because they started play fighting. The play fighting led to Mercutios death. I think that it is Romeo's fault for Mercutio's death.
The reason it is Romeo's fault is that Mercutio's is killed because Romeo stepped in the middle of Mercutio and Tybalt's fight. Tybalt then accidentally
I believe Capult, Juliet's father, is to blame for their deaths. The first reason why I believe Capulet is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death is because he decided to vanish Romeo to Mantua after he killed Tybalt. Capulet deciding to vanish Romeo, separates the two lovers Romeo and Juliet. Yes, Romeo killed Tybalt but as Capulet said if anyone starts any fights it will lead to death.
Who caused Romeo and Juliet’s Death?! We all know that Romeo and Juliet killed themselves because they loved each other and they wouldn’t last a day without each other…. But, who was the cause of their death?? In the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, the three characters who are to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Tybalt , Mercutio , and Juliet’s parents.
In William Shakespeare’s play, The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, there is a common question asked. Who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? There are many characters in the play to be blamed, but the main three are Feud, Lord Capulet and Friar Lawrence. Feud plays a part in all of this because the Feud between the Montagues and the Capulets with bring Romeo and Juliet together. But Lord Capulet also plays a part in all of this, he didn't want to marry his precious Juliet to Paris right away, but she started to weep and he thought that if she was married, she would be happy, so he forced her into a marriage to Paris with the thought of ending her suffering.
In “Romeo and Juliet” the ones to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death are themselves. Romeo is responsible for Juliet and his death. Because of Romeo’s rage of killing Tybalt he was banished from the town and was made to live far away from Juliet, causing her grief. Juliet’s grief ends up killing her, because she threatens to kill herself if Friar Lawrence doesn’t help her make a plan to get back with Romeo. The plan ends up messing up, and both Romeo and Juliet die.
Shara Varenhorst Varenhorst 1 Mr. Klug 11 May, 2018 Placing Blame in the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet In tragedies the first action that’s taken, is finding who is is responsible. Who will be punished for what has happened? But who was to blame for the demise and horrible tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Maybe if Rosealine didn’t break Romeo’s heart, and Mercutio and Benvolio didn’t try cheering him up by inviting him to a party; Romeo and Juliet wouldn’t have met death days later.
In William Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet, two lovers from rival families go against their fate and decide to marry each other, resulting in death collecting both of their souls. In the play, Mercutio is one of Romeo’s best friends. When Romeo is challenged in a duel, Mercutio tries to fight in his stead. Romeo tries to stop Mercutio from fighting and it causes Mercutio to die. Ultimately, Mercutio interfering with Romeo’s decision to not go to the ball and Romeo interfering with Mercurio’s decision to fight, resulting in Mercutio dying, demonstrates that it is sometimes best to not interfere with other people’s decisions.
Romeo And Juliet Essay When is it plausible to be blamed for one's own demise? When it is the consequences of one's faults which doom them, of course. The tragedy written by William Shakespere, Romeo and Juliet, tells the story of two star crossed lovers who come from different family backgrounds, Capulet and Montague. A common theme presented in the tale is willingness to admit to one's own blame.
Love, Death, and Romeo Relationship problems are linked with over 40% of deaths by suicide. Similarly, the play Romeo and Juliet is 99% about relationship problems leading to suicides. One of the protagonists in this story, Romeo, is responsible for all of these deaths. Other characters like Friar Lawrence, Lord Capulet, and Mercutio also play a part in the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Lawrence weds the two lovers, knowing from the beginning that it would be a bad idea to go behind the parent’s backs to do this.
We all know the story The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, but until now, we “knew not” who to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Some characters, like Tybalt or Lord Capulet might be your first assumption, but they should not. There is one character who was around Romeo enough to influence his actions. Mercutio, Romeo’s friend, is to blame for the loss of Romeo and Juliet, because his actions led to Romeo being despised, and Romeo’s banishment. To understand how Mercutio ties into Romeo and Juliet's deaths, you should note how Mercutio is very influential to Romeo, resulting from them being close friends.
My first reason as to why the blame for Mercutio's death falls on Romeo is that in the text he is directly responsible for making Mercutio let his guard down, giving Tybalt a window of opportunity to strike. This is demonstrated in the old movie version of Romeo and Juliet, where it looks as though Tybalt and Mercutio aren’t seriously fighting. But as they are engaging in these theatrics, Romeo decides he should
Romeo is to blame for Mercutio’s death in Act III of Romeo and Juliet. First of all, Romeo did not fight back when Tybalt insulted him. Tybalt calls Romeo a villain and other various names, but Romeo responds by saying (paraphrase), “I love you more than you believe for we are family, even if you are oblivious to this fact. I love the name Capulet as much as I love my own name”(3.1.72-75). When Romeo says this, Tybalt becomes confused and enraged.
The question of who is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet can be complicated. Almost everybody in the play can be blamed because everybody has pitched in a little. There are many characters in the play by William Shakespeare who wronged Romeo and Juliet. The characters that contributed the most to Romeo’s and Juliet’s deaths are Friar Laurence, Lord Capulet and Paris. First of all, Friar Laurence is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet because he has done some stuff that Romeo didn’t know about.
Some people may think that Mercutio is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. They think this because he encouraged Romeo to go to the Capulet party, wanted Romeo to move on, and is the reason Romeo murdered Tybalt and got banished. However, these claims are invalid for countless reasons. All Mercutio was trying to do was uplift his friend and encourage him to stop being sad about Rosaline. It was fate’s fault that Rosaline didn’t love Romeo back and that he met Juliet at the party.
A selfish father gone too far. The death of Romeo and Juliet was caused by other people's actions. A few people responsible for their deaths were Lord Capulet, Friar Lawrence and The Nurse. The most responsible was lord capulet if he wasn't so pushy about the marriage between Juliet and Paris, Romeo and Juliet would be alive. We believe that Lord Capulet is to blame for their deaths because he forced Juliet to marry Paris.
Tybalt challenges Romeo to a duel and he declines the challenge and insists that he won’t fight Tybalt. Mercutio is angered by Romeo’s “cowardice” and takes on Tybalt himself. Romeo wants Mercutio to stop fighting Tybalt so he decides that it’d be a good idea to block his arm in mid combat and Tybalt stabs Mercutio from under Romeo’s arm and Mercutio falls dead after rambling about plagues and a pun or two. Romeo doesn’t realize that it is his own fault that Mercutio died after Mercutio even blamed his wound on him. Romeo lets his emotions decide his actions and becomes enraged and ignores that Tybalt is now his family and fails to see that he was the reason Mercutio was killed.
