On February 6th 1911 former United States president, Ronald Wilson Reagan was born in the small town of Tampico, Illinois. Reagan attended and later graduated from Dixon High School. Reagan continued his academic and athletic career at Eureka College of Illinois. After graduating college Reagan found work in the film industry and appeared in over 50 films. Reagan’s platform as an actor allowed him to appear in the political spotlight when he gave a well-received televised speech for Republican presidential candidate Barry Goldwater.

The first attempt actually happend at 9 years of age, when Cullen drank a concoction of chemicals from a chemistry set. Throughout his life, Charles Cullen would attempt suicide at least 20 times. At the age of seventeen, his mother was killed in a car accident, which caused him to dropout of high-school and enlist in the US Navy. He served as a petty officer third class on the USS Woodrow Wilson, a ballistic missile submarine, and was a member of the team who operated the Poseidon missiles. (Webb, 2015) During his time in the Navy, Cullen began to showcase his mental instability.

My brother was only 5 years old, he had on green shorts and a yellow t-shirt that didn't match. When we go to the park I was weirdly attracted to the monkey bars. My mom helped me across them a few times and that satisfied me for a little bit, but that didn’t last long Then out of nowhere my brother decided he wanted to run back to the camper and of course my mom went after him, leaving me at the park by myself. Me being a kid thought I was strong enough to go across the monkey bars by myself. I got about 2 rungs across when my hand slipped and I went tumbling to the ground landing straight on my left elbow.
There are many statues and murals that represent major events that happened during his presidency. The memorial is in Washington DC and it was designed and built by Lawrence Halprin in 1997. I just continued to work cleaning the school. On weekends I would help out my brother, Panchito, and Papa. Saving people and risking your life to people you don’t know, that’s a true hero. First, you try to be a hero for your disabled kid no matter what you have to do. In passage 1, it says, “ Eighty-five times he’s pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in marathons.” Here is a little back up story, When Rick was nine months old the doctors said that he would be a vegetable the rest of his life, not being able to do anything. The told Rick’s parents to put him in an institution, they didn’t do that so they kept him and helped him with marathons and other sports he couldn’t do. They gave Rick something to where he could type what he wanted to say and it would say it for him.
In 1952 John Kennedy ran for US senate against Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. Kennedy won by 70,000 votes. Kennedy ran for president in 1960, he won by less than 120,000 votes. A famous statement that John Kennedy once stated was, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Russian leader, Khrushchev, the British Prime Minister and John Kennedy all signed the nuclear test ban treaty; therefore Kennedy won his greatest foreign affairs victory. Many people to this day remember the shocking moment when they first heard of President Kennedy 's assassination. He was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963 by a communist sympathizer named Lee Oswald.
I was a victim of the Freshman 15. My freshman year of college, I gained nearly 20 pounds. I remember my parents mentioned that they could tell I gained wait from when they dropped me off for school and picked me up for Fall Break – that is only a 2 month gap! I gained so much weight that I became a snorer. It was really unfortunate for my roommate because she was such a light sleeper and my snoring would wake her up in the middle of the night.
