Abstract
In the 21st century, every school curricula attach importance to verbal skills of the language. Because of this reason, it is not surprising to see the usage of techniques that aim to improve oral communication, such as Direct Translation or Total Physical Response. Unfortunately, these methods are inadequate to teach the formal version of L2 because, instead of focusing the formal version of L2, they frequently focus on the production of utterances in the informal version of L2.Therefore, the main purpose of

Accordingly, the purpose of this research study is to reflect and understand how rote learning can be the solution of the teaching the forgotten formal vocabulary. According to Chastain (1969), language acquisition is a process of habit formation, consisted with behaviouristic principles of the learning. Students learn the vocabulary and the grammar elements of the target language by consistent practising and repetition. In the class environments which apply a curricula bases on behaviouristic principals, teachers engineer the class by providing consistent and reliable stimuli. This process is followed by the responses of the learners. By practising this over and over again, instructors attempt to create a habit formation and, develop the learners’ memorization. Furthermore, after students yield their responses, teachers must encourage students by providing feedback. In a way, it is possible to simulate teachers to the orchestra conductors. Therefore, behaviouristic teaching technique is more demanding for the teachers than other techniques because, teacher are the main source of information and they are a role model for imitation. In addition, since behaviourism does not allow pair work, lecturers’ feedback are the only source for students to ascertain their proficiency
Give praise and recognition” “Display a Personal Touch The most effective teachers are approachable. They 1. Connect with students personally 2. Share personal experiences with their classes 3. Take personal interest in students and find out as much as possible about them.”
Carter G. Woodson, an American historian and scholar known as the father of Black history, once stated, “We have a wonderful history behind us…and it is going to inspire us to greater achievements.” (NAACP.org). Understanding your past, whether that be familial, cultural, or personal, is an important factor in understanding yourself as well. African Americans have many historical events within their history, including the Great Migration, the Civil Rights Movement, the Little Rock Nine, and many others. Not only is it important for African Americans to remember this history, but it's important for everyone to remember this history because we would not have the society we have today without these historical events.
Completing induction training is one of the most effective ways to ensure all practitioners are aware of safeguarding policies, procedures and their duty of care to the children. You will learn lots of different skills while working as an EYP however you need to make sure that you attend all of the training courses available. On a day to day basis you should: keep children safe, protect children from harm, report any worries or concerns about a child to the appropriate person within the setting and keep up to date with procedures within the setting.
CHAPTER FOUR: DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION 5.1 Discussion and Conclusions This study explored the components of Lesson Study, which impacts, on the respondent’s teaching and student learning. This chapter discusses the results and offers an analysis of how the study results emphasis on the initial research questions as well as connect to literature review of the study. The discussion is arranged on the basis of research question. Summary of Findings Participants interview, observations and from many literature this study explore that TSN through Lesson Study is an innovative teaching approach comes from Japan.
The aim of instruction for behaviorism is to extract the desired knowledge from learners who are shown by a target motivation, provide a situation for learners to prompts along with their goal stimuli concurrently, and then provide a learning environment for learners in order to give desired response, to practice on their motivation and aim and to obtain strengthening of their responses (Gropper,
the behavior focus on showing the learners to know how to monitor , have self planning and revising techniques. We , as learners must build on top of what we already know. If you want to be excel in using this theory, you will need to be :- you need to have a certain information so you can add on top of it. your information has to be in order according to its difficulties, you can maintain it.
According to Faculty of Education at University of Cambridge, dialogic teaching is a way of teaching where talk is an effective way to carry out teaching and learning. It involves ongoing talk between two parties; the teacher and the students. In early 2000s, Robin Alexander developed this type of learning. Dialogical teaching helps teacher to discover students’ needs, assess their progress and so on. Dialogic teaching offers an interaction; which is between not only teacher and students; it could be between student and student.

Behaviorist psychology had a significant effect on the teaching and learning principles of audio-lingual method. In Audiolingualism, the underlying theory of learning is behaviorist. Stimulus, response, and reinforcement are the main components of Behaviorism. When we adjust it to language learning; the stimulus is the information about foreign language, the response is student’s reaction on the presented material, and the reinforcement is natural “self-satisfaction of target language use (Richards & Rodgers, 1987). At the same time, foreign language learning from this perspective is a matter of automatic habit formation.
Differentiated instruction is a support or concept for effective teaching that involves showing students with different ways to learning. According to Bearne (1996). “ differentiated instruction corresponds to an innovative approach through which educators whatever their subject area, are able to bring modification to curricula, teaching methods, usage of educational sources and resources, learning events or activities as well as assessment and evaluation methods.” Differentiation in simple words means tailoring instruction to meet individuals needs that is student needs in the school context. Differentiated instruction is the way a teacher anticipates and responds to a variey of students need in class.
Feedback is a significant element in determination of education quality as well as in effective learning where it portrays the learning outcomes for students and the successes for the tutors. There are many aspects that concern educationists with regards to feedback but the relationship between perspectives of learning as well as teaching and feedback stands as the most important among them. Feedback should be conveyed in different modes in a learning environment but whatever mode chosen creates room for dialogue between the tutor and students. Therefore, it is only through feedback that the student engagement relationship with the feedback as well as the tutors’ perceptions of learning, teaching and assessment that such successes can be established.
The Aural-Oral Approach in English Language Teaching In English language teaching there are several approaches that can be applied in a classroom. Each one has purpose and gives concern to certain skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) development. One of these approaches is Aural-Oral Approach. The Aural-Oral Approach is based on developing two language skills: listening and after that speaking which is the earlier stage of learning a language (Geri, 1990).
Research Questions From the literature review, it was established that there were several factors affecting language learning and acquisition. More specifically, it was revealed that factors such as exposure at an early age, motivation, attitudes, incentives and educational system can influence language acquisition. However, most of the research were conducted in the west and were focused on students as subjects to the study and foreigners working in the country where they need to learn the language to lengthen their range of employment opportunity.
Schools are the second place after home where students’ behavior and future educational success are shaped. At schools there are many elements or factors that can influence the teaching and learning process that may take place. Rasyid (2012) stated that there are four perennial truths that make the teaching and learning process possible to take place in the classroom. If one of these is not available, there will be no teaching and learning process, though the learning process itself may still take place, they are: (1) Teacher, (2) Students, (3) Material and (4) Context of time and place. All of them are related to one another.
The importance of good lesson planning and the benefits they have for the teacher. When considering the importance and even the significant of effective lesson planning, quite often we immediately considering the benefits that this can have on the student. Effective lesson planning certainly does benefit the student, discussed later in this essay.
