But most importantly don’t copy their style; rather create one of your own. Once you have selected your target readers; you need to select the characters. It is a good option that you yourself become the main character and narrator of the story. This makes the story more interesting and realistic.
When I write, I either get stuck or write paragraphs. I like to write about everything that I ponder about, have ideas for, or read. I like to write mostly realistic fiction or nonfiction. I like to write facts or things that might actually happen. I don’t like writing untrue or fiction information(Except if it has something to do with either utopian and dystopian fiction) .
One who genuinely did so was Anthony Burgess, with his novel A Clockwork Orange. This novel was the first work of Anthony Burgess that I have read so far and I will definitely read Burgess’ other novels. Also, I am really curious about his works in music. When I did a research and read it carefully to find used literary devices, I found out that it has many hidden meanings under those sentences that make Burgess a social critic and a free-thinker for me. All in all, I strongly recommend you to read this novel.
I could get lost in a book for hours trying to play the story out like a movie in my head. I honestly thought when I grew up I would have a career in something to do with TV, but as I got older I realized it that was not for me. Being a part of a team was something I enjoyed. Working with
I like to learn new things in English, and I like to learn new things even more when they make sense to me. In the past English seemed to get better and better every year. Since we started to read more books in in class, I started to like English even more, since I like reading. The teachers in the past English classes seemed like nice people and the classmates were not so bad either. I like how every year in English the classes get harder and harder because then I have to use my brain even more.
Is there a point behind what Plath is writing or is it just for fun, well in this paper this well be one of the topics covered and how Plath point of view on the mental system the last thing that will cover is how the mental health system if bad, and different or the same to the real world from the book. So Plath being the writer of this book The Bell Jar, along with many other book must have had some kind of meaning in that she is saying. you would have to assume Sylvia could be just writing this for fun though but, the subject of this book would be very hard to have fun reading. In the book you have everything from depression to electroshock
However, success for Maria has another definition. “If something I wrote changes someone’s life or their way of thinking about a certain subject, then my work has succeeded.” Maria has learned a lot in writing and publishing journey and would love to give back to the indie author community by guiding and helping other independent authors. Rosario has written several short stories that have never published, but that might change. She’s considering putting all the short tales together in one book.
I think that “I Capture the Castle”, by Dodie Smith was a very complicated yet enjoyable story. The novel made me desperately wanting to help each character during their own personal conflects. I would recommend this book to someone who wants to challenge themselves with multiply conflicts. I myself, feel that this book was interesting, but at some points a little dull. If I was the author I would add more description and detail about each unique problem.
However, writing 39C finally gave me some hope in writing. Unlike the former writing classes, 39C allows us to choose our own topic, do our own research, create complicate thesis and use supporting topic sentences. Also, the choice of source seems really importance in 39C. It requires us to do the annotated bibliography which is the first time I am asked to do such task. To look back
The age old question was posed by grandfather. “What do you plan on studying at school?” That question had always haunted me, mainly because the answer never seemed to impress anyone. I’ve always loved writing– it’s pretty much the only thing I’m passionate about. So to me, it only seemed logical to study creative writing.
I am trying to read more difficult novels, but I think I chose one a little too far outside my comfort zone. The plot is understandable but the language the author uses rather difficult for me to read. To sum it up, these books are all good choices and I would recommend them, but sometimes I just have to deal with what I can
As I turned the next page of the book, I gasped and watched as the book fell from my hands to the hard wooden floor. Laini Taylor, the author of the Daughter of Smoke and Bones trilogy, has done it again. I proceeded to pick up the second installment of the trilogy off the floor as I marveled on how she does this in every story she writes. Laini Taylor is a fantasy, young-adult author who has a specialty in writing plot twists. Every single piece she writes, gives me, the reader, more pleasure than the previous.
As a kid I always have loved to write; from short stories about mythical beasts and strange lands, to research papers about my favorite animal. My love for reading and writing came from my Dad, who has so many books we have a library room in the house. From the earliest I can remember, my Dad read to me every night, and it all started with Goodnight Moon by Margret Brown. In the story, the character says “Goodnight..” to everything was introduced earlier, and when I was little, I would walk around and say goodbye to everything I came in contact with, “Goodbye milk at Safeway”, “Goodbye tree”. Certain stories that I read or have been read to me, have stuck with me and have affected twenty years of decision making and have helped tune my moral
Reading Memoir “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go,” by Dr. Seuss. This quote speaks for itself. The more you know and educate yourself, the further you’ll go in life. Books are filled with some much information that we could learn from.
