Running Through the Six With Your Votes As the years drag on and the ever looming realization begins to set in. We are almost adults, and what do adults do? They vote. They roll out of bed at some early hour in the morning, when birds are screeching and no normal person has had their morning coffee, only to make the effort in the attempt to better society. Getting out of bed, terrible in itself, but having to actually leave your house to actually do something, unspeakable. Yet you sit on the couch with your laptop being the only light in your house as you complain about “the waste of money that the new flag is going to cost” and “I wonder what the government is wasting my taxes on now” as you continue to stay blissfully ignorant and remain …show more content…

Polls, candidates, parties. In mere seconds, you have unlimited knowledge about all you need to know about the person and political party you want to represent you. You walk in, tick within your chosen boxes and yes, I did say tick instead of click, please if you need take a second to recover from the shock of having to do something manually rather than online, then you make a dramatic exit and smirk at the people waiting in line to make coming so far out of your way worth it. And physically there is literally nothing hard about voting, all you have to do is manage to drag yourself away from watching pretty little Liars before 7pm to cast a vote. So please keep whatever first world like, “I can 't get there on the day” to yourself. Information is at your fingertips, use these ample opportunities to educate yourself. Voting always starts at 9am and finishes by 7 and how lucky for you, it has been taken into consideration that for whatever mundane reason, some people can 't make it to vote on the day so the opportunity has been afforded to be able to vote prior to Election Day.
