God set them in the Garden of Eden and gave them a commandment not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. As they are leaving, unfortunately, Dido stricken with grief, anger, and sadness falls on a sword that Aeneas left behind killing herself. C: This book at first seems as a distraction from the main point of the book as a whole. However, this so called sidetrack allows the reader to see that Aeneas succumbed to the same desires as normal men and had a lot to learn to become a great leader. In a way, one can see how a leader is born by understanding where the leader started. 26. S: Aeneas finally makes it to Italy, where upon arriving build a temple to Apollo and is eventually granted access to Dis. While down in Dis, Aeneas meets his father who gives him information that allows Aeneas to get a better grasp on how important his task is. C: By going to the Dis, Aeneas demonstrates his ability to take direction and follow it through. This is further shown through his actions and is a good description of his talents as a leader of the future Roman people.
