SAT Persuasive Speech

I am called Yarrow, by those who know me. Allow me to enter my story for the record. Once every four years, the many nations of planet Foath send forth their greatest athletes to compete against each other in epic showdowns. Over the course of two weeks, the mighty athletes challenge one another in a multitude of events.

Brittney Smith a 17 year old girl who goes to Maplewood High School where she is an honor roll student, a cheerleader, and is the student body president for the Junior classmen. She enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with her friends, and she make sures that she makes the right decisions for the school. Brittney usually gets along with everyone in the school even the unpopular kids, but there is this one person she doesn’t like or can’t stand to be around. His name is Andre Jones, Andre is the captain of the basketball team and star player. Even though Brittney is around Andre during basketball games, she still refuses to talk to him or go near him.

In Suncrest Elementary School, the school that I attend to, every year they would pick a fifth grader who has the best art picture and would be the cover of the year. I was excited to become a fifth grader because I want to be on the cover of the yearbook. It was until the beginning of April was when Mrs. Barnes was announcing that one student would have their art picture in the cover of the yearbook. I was so excited that one of my classmates including me would be chosen to cover of the yearbook and including in the newspaper.

Starting Tuesday January 17, 2017 – TODAY - all students must park in the upper student parking lot. This includes late arrival and early dismissal students. We are having to do this because students have taken over the front lot and our visitors do not have anywhere to park.

Edwin Herrera called me that, ever since they changed his GPS unit in his vehicle, he’s no longer able to see his jobs in his garmin as he us to. I noticed that when look for his location in Sagequest, his vehicle is in Ontario; however, he’s actually in San Bernardino. What do I need to do to correct this issue?

Albury Wodonga are twin towns located on either side of the Victoria – New South Wales border. Situated in the shores of the Murray River-the longest river in Australia-the area is very popular among tourists because of its eclectic range of attractions that appeal to travellers of all ages and interests.

It was Halloween night, my three friends Bryce, Zach, and Bailey and I were so excited, it was the 666th Halloween, we had all met up at Bryce’s Brother KY’s house in Donaldson, Arkansas. We had been invited to this Halloween party in down town Malvern on the train tracks by ACME Brick. So we called Bailey’s sister Megan because she lives beside KY’s house and KY and his Fiancé Megan wouldn’t take us to that part of Malvern because it is one of the worst neighborhoods in Malvern.

There are many cities in the united states of America, all of the cities have a reputation. In this story we will be focusing in Chicago, illinois. This cities reputation is not the best. In the last two months of the year i have been there visiting and this week weird killings have been taking place. There are always murders going on in this city but i 've never seen a killer who will leave the body where it was killed, but what they will do is they will take a certain limb off of the person 's body. I did not really think about it much until i realized i might be next.

This is Allison Bain. I am a former MAB participant and I just applied for a spring and summer International MAB trip (in hopes of getting picked for one of them!). However, if I do not get picked for one of them, I would like to apply for a (normal) spring MAB trip. Should I apply for a spring MAB trip right now too? Or should I wait to find out about the international MAB trip first?

Specific Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to motivate my audience by discussing the problems with not exercising regularly, offering solutions to the problems, and showing them different activities that can make exercising enjoyable.

It refers to a specific kind of speech which aims to influence the target audience through the use of proper words and suitable arguments. The speaker uses his communication skills to convince the listeners to agree with the idea, opinion or attitude being presented.
