The name Toyota as a company is legendary. It began in 1933 as part of the Toyoda Automatic Loom Works a Japanese manufacture founded by Toyoda Sakichi. Through many years of trial and error, Toyota has developed their brand. Toyota owns over five major motor companies that comprise of Subaru, Lexus, etc. They values safely, reliably, and comfort for all their models and vehicles. A SWOT analysis inspects a company’s Strength and weakness, which they could control. There also threats and opportunities that a company has and they cannot control. Toyota conducted a SWOT analysis to audit its company and its environment in order to make marketing decisions to maintain the value of its products. Toyota has had tremendous success and they can attribute it to their strength as a company. Toyota makes high quality vehicles since they started. In document F “Toyota’s Organizational Culture Characteristics” states “The success of the company is typically attributed to its ability to provide high quality automobiles.” An example of the quality work that they do can be seen on the road today. Toyota vehicles live up to the standards that they are given. Another Strength about Toyota is the amount of resource they put in their employees. The company just want to see their employees become success and build soft skills.
