Sa 'Lina was diagnosed with Scleroderma May,
2014 and passed away January 8, 2015, at the age of 28.

She was scholastically astute and graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills University in 2010, located in Carson, Ca.

Sa 'Lina 's death was so pre-mature that I believe that if she would have lived, she would have started a scholarship program.
This is why as a family we decided to turn this tragedy into a positive to aid in helping someone else to realize their educational dreams as well as carry Sa 'Lina 's legacy into the future.
