I believe that the greater Sage Grouse should have been listed as endangered because our economy shouldn’t be heavily as affected by a specific species. It should not come to a point in society where there needs to be a decision made to prioritize either the ecosystem or the economy. The general issue is economic independence for an area, such as the West. Our economy relies on these natural resources for distribution purposes. Therefore both the economy and the ecosystem need to be thriving well still conserving. The economy is based on the distribution of resources and wildlife conservation is about saving our resources so the environment and wildlife can thrive. The future of the ecosystem is what the main focus because the economy can

In both the article “Permit to Hunt..” and the John Stossel video on Endangered Species both made one point very clear -- in order to save endangered species we have to kill them. The article and the video take this in two very different directions but they are both similar thematically. In the article, the writer talks about the sale of a permit that allows for the buyer to kill one post-breeding black rhino. The $350,000 raised would go on to fund the Namibian Government and their anti-poaching battle.
The name Redskins is seen as a derogatory and racial term traced back to the 18th century. It is found to be demeaning and offensive towards the Native Americans due to the history of the word. Some sources state that the term is in reference to when the Native Americans would paint their faces red, but others proclaim it's related to the scalping incidents. During the mid-19th century, authorities offered bounties for the scalps of Indians and referred to them as redskins. This issue has resurfaced once again as a dispute between the Washington Redskins and the Native Americans over the name of this certain National Football League team.
Heritage pig/pork breeds were naturally handy and thrifty animals raised for their bacon, meat, and lard. The pigs lived off the land, grains, grass, whey from the chum. In America, all heritage pork comes from pure and cross-bred livestock. The Berkshire is a first class black pig with lean meat.
The tundra is defined as a large, treeless, and almost flat open space. They are located at the uppermost parts of North America, Europe, and Asia, where it is near the North Pole (Morris 741). In the tundra, most of the months’ average temperature is below the freezing point. The winters are dark, long and harsh in contrast, the summers there are short and somewhat warm. There is extremely little precipitation there.
Bald eagles are found in many environments in the United States. Those environments include deserts, mountains, freshwater, and marine areas. Bald eagles are known to build very large nests in treetops and always near water. The main source of food for bald eagles is fish, but they will sometimes eat other small animals.

Desert bighorn sheep are the parks largest and most magnificent animals. They are always on the move, and very mobile (so they can go form water source to water source.) The men of the Osage were in
Adaptation is the key to an organism’s survival. It is the only way that organisms can advance with the ever changing environment. According to Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection, the organisms that obtain inheritable traits which permit them to adapt better to their habitat are more likely to survive, reproduction and pass these traits to their offsprings. Thanks to dedicated biological researchers, veterinarians and well-advanced technology, we now have incredible new insights into the life of the polar bears.
