Plants are the most amazing environmental species, that have been around for millions of years. Most plants live from water and the sun’s energy, but some plants can tolerate saltwater. Two articles will be using charts, graphs, and pictures to find out which plants can tolerate saltwater. In the end only some plants with survive, while other will perish from this experiment. The article “Which Plants Can Tolerate Salt” explains how Rugosa Roses and Begonias can possible survive in salt water through an experiment. In the experiment, it has predictions and data. It also has an analysis, charts, pictures, and a conclusion for the readers to help understand the experiment. One thing that is the same between the two would be what it’s based on or what each gives to explain. Both articles give facts and examples, all of which are science based. Another similarity that is shared between the articles is how and what they compared. Both articles compared how and why some plants can and cannot survive with a salty environment. Lastly, a similarity that can be found between the two articles how they presented their data. Both articles used charts to present their data on info showing plants that can or can’t live in salt. As you can see, there are many similarities that can counteract the differences. In conclusion many plants live off of the sun 's rays and water, but some can live off of saltwater. The articles “Which Plants Can Tolerate Salt” and “Trees and Shrubs That Tolerate Saline Soils and Salt Spray Drift” explain how some plants can live off of saltwater and others cannot.
