Sammy j and I sing our favorite song “barbie girl” in the small apartment we live in, others think that we are weird but I don't think so. The others say that we are horrible at singing and tell us to shut up. Ever since that horrible day, Sammy j has never been the same. I can see it on his face, the dark circles around his d bottomless pit brown eyes. I wanted her to come back. But when I went around the corner passed the trees to stop her, she was shoved into the van. I kept running after the van but then van was to fast for my small legs and I was no match. I walk home with sadness filling up in my heart. I say that that the van is gone and everyone comes outside. One neighbor asked if I have saved her. But as they saw my miserable face, they all knew that she had passed. “She passed, she’s gone and I don't know if she will ever come back,” I say. “How do you Kerprap, how do you know that she passed?” “While I was running after Emma I saw her get shoved in that old, white-horrible van.” “Oh,” the same neighbor said. I walk home to find Sammy j crying in his room. “What's wrong? I asked. “Keprap, I could be next, you can be next and there is nothing we can do about it we could both and end up just like Emma.” Sammy j is corrected but the only response I have for All I do is stare hard at his face I can’t say anything because he is

Maverick had hinted previously the police would try to twist her words into something there not. Since Starr was in such a defenseless situation that Lisa was outraged by abnormal questions they had been inquiring about, “I think we’re done for today,” Momma says, taking my hand as she starts to stand up. “But Mrs. Carter, we’re not finished.” “I don’t care—” (Thomas 80). Going into the police station, Lisa knew the consequences that could happen to Starr.

I didn’t think she would leave us so soon, but you know what they say life doesn’t always go as planned. I never got the chance to say goodbye, or tell her I loved her very much and that I was grateful for all that she had done for me, I never got to tell her what a inspiration she was to me, and I never got to hug one last time. It wasn’t far, I hated that I wasn’t there for her and I couldn’t do anything about it. I guess when people say that life isn’t far, they really mean
Even though it was difficult to choose only one song because of how broad my musical taste is none of those songs made me feel as unique and beautiful as this song does. My options varied from Eminem’s crazy rap to Beyoncé’s sassy rhythm but at the end I decided on a song that has prevailed beautiful for many, many the years and still might be something new for my peers. I wanted to show the class something they probably haven’t heard of and hopefully make some of them curious about the genre or the artist. I chose this song because I wanted to give them the opportunity to try new rhythms, lyrics, genres, and just things in general and showed them how special and incredible this song can be if understood correctly.
