There are many similarities between the Samurai of medieval Japan and the Knights of medieval Europe, especially considering their training, armor, and code. For example, Documents A and B discuss Samurai would begin to train at a very young age, 4 and 5, and they would be loyal to their master. However, Knights would start at 14, they would practice with wooden swords. Another similarity in Documents C and D is how the Samurais and Knights would wear a lot of heavy armor. The Knights armor was up to 40 to 60 pounds. The Samurai's armor was very heavy mostly is it rained. Finally, in Documents E and F swore a certain oath or vow to show their loyalty.
