I’snt 10 months of school good enough ? One of the other two reasons why school should not be all year around least Rising cost would make the school lose a lot more money by having to use the air in the
I am against year-round schooling because it gives students little to no time for breaks, it would become an inconvenience to students, teachers, and parents, and it would burn students out much more quickly. Having to work all year round would bee annoying to anybody, including students. Year- round schooling gives students little to no breaks from school without counting holiday vacations. It does mean students would go to school for less days a week, however, this would also mean teachers would have to compensate for this by giving them a lot of homework over this extended weekend. Students would still be working during these days so they might as well have just had school on those days.
In addition, most schools only have the budget to pay the best students, so competition between classmates would increase. Overall, the stress added by offering monetary awards is not beneficial. In conclusion, high schools should not pay their students for receiving good grades. Money is not always the best incentive for achievement, especially because it often builds stress and greed.
This is another reason year-round school should not move to Florida. Lastly, a year-round school schedule may offer more breaks, but there is no proof that it helped students academically. Therefore the year-round school schedule does not truly benefit students or teachers. Also the more frequent breaks may pose the problem of students forgetting information after every break, which would cause for more review in class which does not help students learn new things.
That process would continue throughout the entire year. Many people believe that with year long schooling students will not get as much education as they would at a more traditional school because of the amount of breaks. There have been studies that showed that students had greater progress when they came beak from a break. Therefore, teachers would be able to increase the pace of learning a little more and students would actually be getting more information. If more educational programs gave this schooling system a chance students, teachers, and parents/guardians are bound to fall in love with it.
Students wouldn’t have the same schedules as everyone else so it would be hard to schedule. Families have trouble finding days where everyone is off at the same time (Long). Year round schools have many short breaks off when normal schools have a couple long breaks. Kids like going on vacations and year round schooling makes that
Critics of the shortened school week point to the fact that children who are at risk, especially those having learning difficulties may not be able to get the most out of the new program. As it might seem, 4-day school weeks would work best for kids who are self-motivated and would not serve the needs of those who do not learn in the same manner. This means a lessened focus, which can cause grades to drop. It also means that there is a higher cost for parents. Though schoold districts can save money with four day school weeks, it is the other way around for many parents.
Even though relaxation is one of the hardest things to find, it is not impossible. People in the world today are all worried or afraid about something it does not allow them to be relaxed. People are afraid of not being able to make enough money to provide for their family and pay bills. Students in high school are worried about getting good grades and trying to figure out what they are going to do after high school. Worrying about these things and many others is what makes it so hard for people to ever feel a slight bit relaxed.
Compulsory voting has proven to better represent the young, poor, and minorities who tend not to vote. However, it is not cost effective. The labor involved and the cost to pay for the jurisdiction and congressmen to pass it is extremely high. America would lose more money a year on this system and further drive down already struggling sectors such as social security and education by being forced to draw even more of their finds a way. As it stands now the concept is not constitutional, an altar to the first and twenty-fourth amendments would be required at least, and that would still not guarantee it to pass.
When considering the choice of paying students for good grades and not paying students for good grades, the choice should definitely be, students should not be paid for good grades. Paying students for good grades may start off their youth incorrectly. Instead of focusing on getting an education, the reward of money is likely to block their priorities. Students will be angry when not given the money, and not being able to raise test scores or grades. In order for a bright and successful future, students should not be paid for good
