In a world full of competition, it takes more than someone with a goal and a dream, but rather someone who is dedicated and is willing to make sacrifices to make themselves among the most elite businessmen. With this being said I believe rapper, producer, actor, and entrepreneur Sean Combs, also known as P.Diddy is someone who fit this profile perfect. Sean Combs has accomplished numerous things. His successful clothing line Sean John to his own brand of liquor Ciroc, are just two of many of Combs accomplishments. Sean Combs is a well-known and respected business mogul who has made his mark in many different industries of business such as the music industry, fashion industry, fragrance industry or the alcohol industry. I respect Sean Combs as a person because he’s someone who I can relate to. He started off as a normal child who went to school and later decided to attend college at Howard University. Like every kid, Combs had Dreams and was willing to make a sacrifice to make that a reality, and so he did. Combs decided to drop out of college to pursue his internship at Uptown Records. As a result of his success at Uptown Records, in 1993, Combs started one of the biggest record labels the music industry has ever seen, called Bad Boy the legacy of bad boy is one that can not easily be duplicated. In 1998 Sean Combs launched his collection of clothing, sneakers, and fragrance called Sean John. Combs clothing line in 2008 acquired 20 million dollars. His fragrance was a joint venture with EST Lauder. In 2006 finally his collection of fragrances was released. Of course his cologne Sean John was the number one selling fragrance in the U.S. This also brings up another reason as to why I admire and respect P.Diddy so much, he knows how to observe what’s popular at that time, create a plan, then turn that plan into a marketable product.
