Why to consider me for the Seattle Field Trip
I should be taken on the Seattle Field Trip because it would be a very informational experience. Also I'm very interested in learning more about marine biology because my younger brother is very interested in everything having to do with the ocean. I am also interested in learning about the programs at WSU because in my future I wish to take a business program and a culinary program. Another thing I am interested in for my future is eventually opening up a bakery in Seattle because it isn't too big of a city but it also has a lot of people prospering in the area.
The reason that my brother is interested in the ocean is because once when he was playing a video game with our family friend Brayden, they were talking about all the animals that he faced underwater. Brayden then explained to Nate that the animals and the game could actually live in our own ocean. Ever since then Nate has been interested in the ocean and has explained many possibilities of life that we had not heard of. Also my grandparents who used to live in Bellingham took us to a marine biology center where we were able to touch and pet starfish and other bottom dwelling creatures that were safe. There

So on this trip I will not be goofing around or making unnecessary comments and I will ask good compelling questions to interact with other students. Also I believe that many of the 8th graders going on this trip could easily get along with me and or already do because I have many older cousins, friends, and acquaintances. Therefore, many people will not be annoyed by my behavior throughout the trip. Also if my teachers are working on something that needs to be done on my own time because I missed class, then I would easily be able to complete these tasks because of my former experience with missing days of school because of P.E.P. and making up
Compare and Contrast There has been a lot of controversy in Washington D.C. the past couple of years. The Washington Redskins have had a tough decision whether or not they were going to start Robert Griffin III or Kirk Cousins. The two quarterbacks were drafted in the same year, 2012, but different rounds, and the only team they have both played on is the redskins, and they also were both named offensive captains. Both of them have also led the Redskins to the playoffs. However, despite all of the similarities they are quite different.

The book The March on Washington is very descriptive and insightful on the actions and events that had to take place, so that the date August 28, 1963 would be remembered forever. It depicts a picture of what ideas and hard work can do for a group of people that wanted something so bad. Many people just look at the outcome of the march on Washington but never really look behind the scenes to see what had to happen for this event to actually happen . This book depicts the struggles and issues African Americans had to face in the mid-1900s. The thesis is jobs, freedom, and the forgotten history of civil rights.
Navy Pier This is an escape from the suburbs. There is something about the routine of everyday life that becomes painfully mundane. It’s always nice to get away from your home, but sometimes it is too hard to go on a serious trip. There is, in fact, a better, just as fantastic solution: Navy Pier in Chicago.
I want to go on an alternative break trip to spread my knowledge, experience, and positivity with other members of my team, and the people, land, and environment that we encounter throughout the trip. I want to create lasting memories and friendships with new people in new places, and to learn more about different parts of the country by experiencing them first hand. I know I will grow tremendously as a person and learn more about myself through this experience, while most importantly having a positive

The trip to Florida. Orlando to be exact. We had been planning this trip for a while. My whole family hopped in the new car we bought about a month ago. It was already beginning to look like the car we had before.
In the 1930’s, Salinas Valley was a hard place to live. Located on California’s Central Coast, Salinas is a very dry and desert-like area. In these 1930’s, the famous Dust Bowl occurred, making agriculture very challenging. This North Californian City is also where the famous novel, “Of Mice and Men” takes place. One reason that it was a hard place to live was the living conditions.
I am interested in Howard University because it is an HBCU that encompass the themes of cultural diversity and education. Your commitment to scholars ensures me that at your school I will be right at home. Since I intend on on going down a medical path, I know that Howard University will provide me with best resources to follow my dreams. As a child I was always interested in the worlds around me and how things worked. As a result I participated in a Summer Enrichment Program located at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Exploring the ocean could help people understand Earth better to.
The first reason is that it will grant me the opportunity to provide for not only myself but also the family that I wish to have in the future. Another reason that I should be admitted into the Fortis College Dental Hygiene program is the fact that it will provide me with the opportunity to help others. One of my goals in life has always been to be able to help at least one person a day. By granting me admission into the Dental Hygiene program, I will be able to accomplish this goal in more ways than one. Lastly, another reason that I should be accepted into the Dental Hygiene program is that I am a fast learner, I am goal-oriented, punctual, positive, and ambitious.
The ocean, however, has major benefits: providing food, medicine, and the air we breathe. Oceans can bring much more to the table, if we would simply explore more of them. Space provides both medicinal and technological advancements, yet the ocean not only brings those about, but also has a plethora of more benefits including jobs. Oceans benefit the population in many ways, one of them being income.
This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for students of GVSU, and I am honored to be considered for this scholarship. I believe that I am a great applicant for this scholarship, and that I deserve this scholarship. One reason I deserve this scholarship is because of my strong academic courses. Throughout my high school career, I pushed myself academically by taking a total of 10 AP classes and 7 honors classes. These classes were all challenging, yet I pushed through with determination to complete the classes to the best of my ability.
It is somehow hard for us to discover the beauty of nature in Hong Kong, the hustle and bustle city. Only when we put the work or stress away temporarily, can we truly feel how beautiful the place we are living is. As a pessimistic person, I often get stressed easily. Usually I would put myself in a quiet place, away from the crowds and the hardship I am facing. Tai Po Waterfront Park is the place that cheers me up.
