This method introduced me new learning strategies materialised in new activities, such as participate in simple discussions or also comment on images. Such kind of activities helped me to lose my fear to produce my own output; however, these activities serve me to realize how far my interlanguage was from achieving my English proficiency. Moreover, this instruction contributed to develop my interlanguage, and approached it to the target language. Fortunately, I was in a position to check the results of my learning process in two different ways, first passing my exams at the EOI, and second, and for me more interesting, interacting with native English speakers. These interactions were sometimes in my usual environment, but others in the UK, when I was able to interact with different levels with very different native persons, since a shop assistant till a judge in a dinner at her home or even an actress. This experience helped to make me aware of my mistakes and my error when producing my output; In addition, the use of communicative strategies such as paraphrase or even asked for help to my interlocutors was very supportive to improve my communication with English speakers. In my learning process, some elements have played a direct role in the construction of my interlanguage, such as the instruction received, because it is the base of my knowledge; but others have been fundamental along the time. This is the case of motivation. Although sometimes fluctuating, this motivation, integrative and instrumental, has been a constant in my learning process of L2. Other basic factors in my learning process are without doubt, the input I received, which has help me to create my own interlanguage, and let me communicate through the production of my output. Ensuring that you use language that is understood by the person you are talking to and looking directly at them while you talk will
In life not everyone communicates in the same way and we may have to adapt our communication skills to meet the needs of others. By making someone feel at ease and comfortable within their surroundings can help bring down barriers so then communication can begin, just by giving someone time and you yourself being patient. There are lots of different languages throughout the world and even though a lot of people speak English for some adults another language could be their first language not English. Keeping communication simple so that everyone understands what is being said can help people to communicate with one another.

At one point, I could not tell if an individual was signing to me or the person next to me to say hello. I also need to increase my limited vocabulary. I could confidently introduce myself to someone who sat next to me. Beyond that, I could comprehend some signs, but I lacked the vocabulary to accurately and coherently respond. At the next event, hopefully I will interact through short conversations.
This chapter of Reclaiming Conversation by Sherry Turkle essentially focused on the effect technology can have on the bond of a family. The writer depicts different families to prove how social media has creates a false sense of closeness in family relations, when in reality it drives us further apart. As explained in the section named “Left to their own devices”, a teenager named Alli finds herself in a situation most families are currently in. Alli is not able to rely on her family for emotional support and instead seeks comfort from thousands of strangers online. This is a common situation in which teenagers feel more comfortable going out of their way on social media to obtain advice from strangers, instead of having a conversation with
Crucial Conversations also address uncomfortable conversations that can occur between an administrator and teachers, or other community stakeholders. These types of conversations encourage people to speak up and let their opinions be heard. An administrator’s goal with Crucial Conversations is to engage in dialogue with fellow school or district employees. Richard Pound, who wrote the article, “Breaking the Culture of Silence and Crucial Conversations,” says that the emphasis of dialogue results in good and informed decision-making. It also prevents employees from feeling “de-motivated, disengaged, and disinterested” (Pound 2).
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of human excellence through the understanding of our thought process (Neuro), how the way we use language influences us and the people around us (Linguistics) and our interactive process that enables us to make decisions in our lives (Programming). 1. A language is a group of symbols with rules which carry messages between people. Language is rule-governed: Phonological rules: It's how words when people enunciate them out loud. There are words which can be same in two languages, however, can sound very different by two natives.

I will use strategies learned from my peers, research, experience, and my grammar class to explain how I will teach my students grammar.
