Renette Tabadero, As the book states, “a secret test is a behavior strategically chosen to indirectly determine a partner’s feelings” (Beebe, Beebe, & Redmond, 2014, p.330). Secret tests can hinder an escalating relationship because it can seem like you are hiding something. When you are dating someone, you should not have to hide anything from them. Being 100% honest and telling the truth is the best way to create a strong relationship. I once used a secret test on my girlfriend by not contacting her. I performed this secret test to see whether or not she would contact me first. In the end, due to our stubbornness, we did not talk for 3 days. The secret test failed and created an argument that could have ended our relationship. Although we
Everyone has this deep dark secret or monster inside of their head. A secret they never want to think about, but this secret does not go away. This secret affects their daily life decisions and how they handle everything. Personally i have a secret that I do not like to talk about. I always try to forget this secret or monster, however this is very hard to forget.
Critique of “Sex and Temperament” and “From Undoing Gender” Margaret Mead’s “Sex and Temperament” is an essay to explain how there are differences between genders everywhere but they are not the same throughout the world. While Judith Butler’s excerpt from “Undoing Gender” is about the existence of gender normalities effects on how people are viewed in society. These two essays are very similar because of the similar presentations of ideas and the similar ideas of the two women. I chose to compare these two because of the similarity in their topics and how they presented them. Such as the ideas of gender differences, their research is based on analysis of different situations , and the effect the idea of gender norms have on society and they way we view others.
The Testing is a dystopian fiction novel written by Joelle Charbonneau. In the book, Cia, a girl growing up in the Five Lakes colony, is sent to the testing. The testing is a series of exams, ranging from pen and paper to a full on Hunger Games style trek. Cia and several individuals from other colonies are sent to compete. She passes the first few tests relatively easily, but in the fourth test she is sent to complete a several hundred mile long journey in abandoned North America.
If everyone knew each other's secrets, then O’Brien would lose an essential part of his story: the possible motive(s). The one element that serves to develop the entire plot, the reader's perspective and all speculation as to what happened to Kathy. Clearly, O’Brien recognizes the power secrets have on others, because they become a large chunk of the

The passage ‘Abended children, SA’s dirty little secret’ appeals to a lot of people and especially to the people all around us, when a girl is in a situation that Zanele was in and comes to us for help we should do all we can to help. I can only imagine how scared and alone Zanele must of felt and I think if she had the help of someone around her the situation could of had a better solution.
For example, if we both got 8/10 on a test, I would ask for a retake while she’d be satisfied with her score.
Polyandry in Anuran Amphibians Polyandry is a breeding pattern where the female mates with multiple males in one mating season, this topic is described by Byrne and Roberts (2012) as a poorly understood topic in evolutionary biology. Polyandry has two types in taxa with external fertilization, e.g. anuran amphibians: simultaneous and sequential polyandry. Simultaneous polyandry occurs when sperm from multiple males compete to fertilize eggs. Sequential polyandry occurs when the eggs from a single female are fertilized by multiple males and sperm competition is absent (Byrne and Roberts 2012).

The Social Psychology of False Confessions: Compliance, Internalization, and Confabulation is a study conducted by Saul M. Kassin and Katherine L. Kichel of Williams College. This experiment explores social influence and the impact it has on confessions. As a fundamental right in the United States, people are given several rights and if broken, various punishments can be implemented. Criminal confessions are usually self-incriminating or coerced, yet these can easily be swayed by other factors. Social influence can directly affect suspects and can potentially cause people to confess to crimes they did not commit.

I really enjoyed reading your post and it was very well written. I agree that the wife was attracted to the Canadian couple because they were all teachers. I also feel that the husband feel left out of the conversations that they were having because he was a businessman not a teacher. Physical attraction had to have played a part in the couple’s initial meeting in the hotel bar for the couples to have started talking in the first place. “Often, there will be no communication at all if we do not perceive physical attraction in the other person” (Wrench, McCroskey, & Richmond, 2008).
